A typical day at work might look like:

I would go into work 10 to 20 mins early than:

- login onto computer
- open blinds
- turn phone from nighttime to daytime
- unlock file cabinet

At 8:30 I would greet the parents & children coming into preschools & appointments, and than throughout the day I would: 

- setup referrals on the computer & making up physical files;
- create newsletters plus various other jobs as requested by co-workers such as type meeting minutes, etc. etc. 
- answer phone calls
- assist co-workers with any computer/printer problems they might encounter
- order various supplies for all the preschools; consultants; therapists, key workers
- sign for incoming orders and distribute to appropriate departments
- as the Health & Safety Representative once a month I would encourage all staff to cooperate in doing drills than typing up reports for head office
- receiving payments from parents for preschools on a debit/credit machine
- receive incoming mail & file in coworkers folders
- quarterly I mailed out letters & questionaires to clients that were on our monitoring lists
- yearly I setup "Survey Monkey" and either emailed or mailed out the surveys to all our clients

I learned I could do my job with professionalism and have the time of my life doing it.

Management was always there when I needed them and I had an excellent relationship with each of them.

My coworkers were amazing, I loved working with all of them.

This is a great place to work but can be stressful as there is no office location for remote cities. Hours are all over the place and change on a weekly basis depending on what is needed at the time. 

This is a great job if you only need part time hours and are very flexible. 

The other employees are great and a lot of emphasis is put on communicating effectively within the team. This job is also a great learning opportunity and provides a lot of variety within the position.

A great place to work, very organized and individual programs which enable supported clients to reach their full potential in their community. At the same time a place where clients have the opportunity to develop friendships with peers. Co-workers and management are very supportive.

Everyday was so different, I loved my Job, even the bad days.
My Co Workers were awesome, We had such a good close relationship, which is a must in Team Employment.

The hardest part of my job was having the Babies put straight into care after birth, due to difficult home life for the Mother. 

The mot enjoyable part was to have a happy ending for all my Clients,

Very sad day when I had to leave.

I was very satisfied with my years at SSCS. I was given amazing opportunity to gain leadership and project based learning skills. The professional development was a major highlight and the agency offered many levels of workshops and conferences for me to attend. The workplace culture is positive.

The hardest part of the job is work/life balance, it is easy to give more than required. 

The most enjoyable part of the job is working with clients.

A good place to work. People really care about their jobs and work as a team. Sometimes it's really busy and the work is challenging but rewarding too. I like it here alot.
