I've worked at Sewer Tech for 4 years now and I am very happy here. The  staff here is always very friendly and there's a very casual easy going atmosphere around the office. My role here is a busy one, and I find it to be challenging on a daily basis, which is great because I like to be fully engaged in what I'm doing. Things can be fast paced and change on the fly sometimes, which is really just the nature of the industry we are in. I've worked for other companies in this industry and this is the best job I've had in my 20+ year career. The management here is fair, and expects you to do a good job, but also provide support if you need it, and they are also very accommodating when it comes to child care arrangements, personal issues, booking time off, etc. The pay is solid, and there are great benefits too, plus an RRSP program!! 

Overall, I am totally happy with my job, I get along great with the people I work with, and I genuinely enjoy coming to work each day.

Started as construction helper for combo truck. I hold a DZ license and told I was being hired to learn to operate a combo truck to fill in for the operator vacations days and learn how to flush sewers and become Hydrovac operator once a truck gets sent down. Told with in 30 mins of my first shift by combo truck operator he got the last operator and helper fired and any disagreements I’ll be next. Sent the next 6 months being treated unfairly and subjected to negative remarks. Toxic job environment, blamed for others employees mistakes, will be encourage to be turned against each other. Combo truck operator doesn’t watch the boom so you be dodging it not to get hit and operator constantly hitting Fibre lines hanging from poles. Management relies on combo operator to run operations so any complaints goes in one ear and out the other.

I have over 10 years experience in the hydrovac industry and I can honestly say this is the worst company I have ever worked for! I worked there for 4 months and I was LUCKY to get 30 hours a week and 90% of those hours were at a lower wage because as an operator they will make you work as a helper all the time and you will get helpers wages (making $600-$800 a week) The company has no work on the hydrovac side and the hydrovac manager is clueless. The co-workers are all great guys and everyone gets along great. The flushing and lining divisions have tons of work and the managers looking after those divisions are great people but unfortunately the hydrovac side of things is a sinking ship so you better get your water wings out if you are going to work there.

Worst Job I've had due to poor management. You would never know if you were working until the night before around 9pm for a 5am shift. The supervisor wouldn't return your phone calls ever. Alot of gear would go missing around the shop because they didn"t have lockers and would ignore the issue if brought up. They still owe me money because my last paycheck was wrong and they wouldn't return my calls to resolve the issue.. I did enjoy the job and most of my Co workers. Basically a poor job if you are one of the none union employes because they can walk all over you and they will.

I have worked for Sewer Technologies for just less than a year and have been happy since the day I started. The company is filled with true professionals from the top to the bottom. Everyone here is good at their job and we all work together to service the customers. The pay is competitive for the industry and they have an added bonus of excellent benefits and a RRSP program. Anyone looking for a job with a secure company can apply with confidence.

I worked with Sewertechnologies for 7 years and it was a great place, people were friendly and I was learning new things everyday about the industry. I was able to work independently and in a team environment with lots of communication. 
Sales targets can be challenging at times but I put in the work and the opportunities for success and career advancement are endless at this company. I highly recommend them.   

Sewer Technologies is an excellent place to work. The management team is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and dedicated to building a positive and safe work environment. Their benefits and remuneration package are generous and greater than others in their industry. It was a difficult decision to leave such a great organization, however, I had an opportunity to continue my education that I couldn’t turn down.

I really enjoyed working here. The people were amazing but it was hard to see myself progressing passed an entry level role. Management had worked there for years with no intentions to leave so entry level staff didn't have much opportunity to move up in a smaller company.

Relatively small yard/shop. Everyone knows everyone with no cliques. Great people, good management, and good possibility for advancement if you show initiative and show up every day.
