Special Olympics Ontario is an amazing / friendly place to work and have a placement at. It provided me tons of experience relating Graphic Designing. I was able to polish my skills and learn new things within the organization. I had a chance to work with multiple different people. We always worked together as a team to come up innovative ideas and plan out different events. This organization has a very good cause.

SOO is an awesome place to work! My experience was different than others as I occupied a summer student position and not a regular full-time role, but I found the organization supportive and fun to work for. The work can be challenging, but it's very rewarding. My direct supervisor was really great to work for, and she definitely contributed to my learning throughout the process! 

Working with the Special Olympics was a very good experience. It taught me things about others with disabilities I would've never thought of. It brought me so much joy to see how happy playing soccer made the men, women, and children. Knowing you made their day and helped them in a way you'll never know was very comforting.

Great work life balance, and short commute.  Loved going to all the sporting events.  Management was the best I've ever experienced.  Co-workers were fantastic.  Worst part was no room for advancement.  Best part was the fun and open work culture.

I can simply say that I was feeling like being at home with my family while working with them and I received a lot of love and attention from my colleagues and coworkers over there

It was a great experience working at the Special Olympics with the athletes and coaches and see what they are doing in order to make them independent and contributing members of society with the various challenges they face in their everyday lives.

Achieve an annual mass-mail-out of donation receipts was my task. I intended to survey this workplace for opportunity and trade action skills.
Job Description was achieved; my individual interest attention was not listened for.

I worked with great people and the organization had a great cause. We were always involved in team building opportunities and I always enjoyed working there.

Super friendly management and the senior Vice President helped me through a very tough time she was very professional and connected me with services and assisted me along the way She was very protective of my information and I learned

Special Olympics Ontario provided me with opportunity during and after my schooling. I was able to sharpen my skills while getting my feet wet within a sport organization.
