It was an event-job. I was often only scheduled 3 or 4 times a month, which was more than enough for me when I was younger. I learned a lot about myself, and how the service industry worked. I didn't mind the management, or my co-workers, the were all accepting and understanding to any switches that needed to be made.
Hardest part of the job was staying late to clean up after a stag and doe, or wedding.
Most enjoyable was the "crew dinners" we would have after many of the events.

Maintenance management are top notch, and know there stuff. Rest of the facilities management is friendly but not the most capable. Golf course is one of a kind! One of the BEST. So if you like to play golf and work outside, it's a great place to work. Pay is minimal but the course

Thursdays were tournament days which meant tables set up for lunch or dinner and foe prizes and the registration table was set up . pop machines were filled up with cold can and bottled pop . Every day was productive too make sure the members were happy and satisfied

The company is highly recognized in the area.
Job pays well up to minimum wage; only slight downside may be little hours within weeks.
Staff members are very friendly and kind; may make good friends with staff working here.

St thomas Golf and country is one of the best places to work.  A great team of people to work with and for.  When I go to work I Dont feel like Im going to work, I feel like Im going to help a group of friends complete a job well Done.

I had a great time working at St Thomas. I enjoyed mowing greens, blowing out cart paths, changing holes, fly-mowing bunkers, setting tee blocks and meeting members

Not organized.
Management is under qualified.
Pay workers bare minimum.
Staff is poor/non existent.
Not a positive work environment.
Empty promises and False hope. 

Don’t waste your time. 


It was all in all a good place to work. Employees are easy going and everyone seems to get along very well. If you do your job well everyday then it will be easy. 

Everyone gets along. Just come in and do your work and evryone will respect you. It's good if you are a school student they are flexible with hours for outside work. 

Loved working there with all the members.  disliked the turn over in staff, making everyone else's jobs that much harder.
