I worked internally at Synergie Hunt for a little over 3 months and it became unbearable. This is the shortest length I have ever been employed by a company for before giving notice. The experience was dreadful. The regional manager of Ontario was extremely unprofessional and would say negative and untrue things about employees behind their backs to fellow colleagues. This made for an extremely toxic environment. She is the epitome of a bully. The regional manager would ask us as employees to lie to clients to make the company appear more profitable and experienced than they actually are. When I told the manager I was not comfortable with lying and refused to mislead a client she became very upset and defensive and proceeded to try and still approach this client with lies. No training is provided to any employees and no positive reinforcement is ever given. You will never see your commission since the regional manager does not even show you how you are supposed to keep track of your progress. I asked her several times how to track my commission and her response was “I’ll take care of it” and after I spoke with head office I found out she never did. Candidates were told there were job positions available when the company had 0 clients. Waste of time and toxic for your mental health. Strongly urge against putting yourself through this.

As a temp office worker with Hunt Personnel, I have worked mostly as receptionist/administrative assistant for various companies in the general Vancouver area. In my temporary assignments there was always a fairly steep learning curve in the beginning (in which patience was the crucial attitude - with myself and from others), and then, if time permitted, a period of building confidence as I practiced my new job responsibilities. Even though the companies I have worked for have been very different from each other, I have enjoyed all my experiences. In my most recent posting in a law firm, someone even took enough interest in me to ask what kind of work I had done before (since it was obvious from my age that this was not my first spin around the block!), and I really appreciated this interest and affirmation. This didn't happen in every assignment.

Synergie hunt made the job seem so much better than it is. I was lied to and told that it would b 9-9pm with Sunday's off got to the job and it's actually 9am-11:30pm call centre . Agency doesn't care about your complaints . As we would email them and all they said was " enjoy your day and keep positive". I was sent to Just Energy call centre and was threatened to have my job ripped away if I didn't meet certain requirements. Synergie takes away at least 60+ dollars per pay check. Only good thing is that the training was a 9-5 pm . Loved the people that were in my training class. They kept me sane as we could relate to how horrible the experience was and all the false promises that were made.

What is the best part of working at the company?
If you are a good worker they will overwork you until someone better comes along and let you go without notice.  They terminate contracts before they are due and lock you out of your computer so that you cannot collect your evidence

Workplace culture is very hypocritical to the small employee to the chief manager they act very sneaky and have favorites. They expect perfection and follow every single things you do to put you in troubles even after months of good work. They have no problem to fire you after 1 or 2 years of work for no good reason. Don't take this company seriously they are mediocre at best. If you get in still look for something else because there's no advancement and no security. They also infantilize their employee.
 

Instead of helping new employees get to understand they’re program, the management will laugh behind your back and won’t hesitate to fire you for the slightest mistake. Training is a JOKE, you don’t learn much because it is verbatim. The whole supervisor team is so fake and hypocritical that they will tell you « great job!! » today, and fire you the next day. Stay away from this company they do not offer stable employment, however if you do get hired, always keep a job available for you to hop on once they fire you, they won’t hesitate.

Very Professional and was sent to many interesting functions. Also found the staff to be very friendly and personable. Most positions were at night, including dinners and other events. Was able to meet a few well known people and worked between bartending and serving. All of the management that I worked for were great.

The work environment is extremely toxic, there's no training & the manager gets upset when you ask questions (logic?). There's a lack of communication, lack of professionalism from manager, micro-managing, lower than average pay and no room for growth. There is no priority on workplace health&safety/wellness and absolutely no priority on respecting workplace procedures/practices. In desperate need of leadership training. There are better opportunities out there for you!!

I enjoyed working at different Costco locations. It Synergie's way of working that I did not enjoy. They never sent you to the Costco near you.
They would send me to Terrebonne, Vaudreuil, etc...I live in Lachine. Their   commissions were very poor. All we had to do is sell for $1000.00 a day, which was easy to do. I left Synergie, they were cheating their employees out of their commision. I even filed a complaint against them

I have been working with Synergie Hunt International for the past 6 months and it has been a great experience. The staff is extremely friendly and always willing to give a helping hand. The hiring manager is always available for any inquires I might have and provides me with the information I am looking for. I truly enjoy working with this company! I don't fell like a number but more a part of a team. I encourage all to apply to this company.
