Having been in the industry for nearly 10 years in other companis, I'm and overall pleased with Transformation. Much depends on your position or which manager you are under, as some are better than others, but that's not much different from any job.
Pay is good if you put in a bit of effort, they have a standardized pay structure based on knowledge and skill levels.
Benefits are excellent.
Communication and management can be a little disorganized at times, something that is being actively worked on improving.
Tool and equipment quality is a little rough but improving, they now have an in house mechanic to keep everything running.
Extremely supportive of lifestyle. They are very accommodating.
Time off is easy if you give plenty of warning.
Overall it's a great place to work. It's not perfect, but it's better than many.

I have been with Transformations Landscaping for just over a month now and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys working outside. All the staff I have met are great, everyone is incredibly nice and helpful and willing to teach you and help you with anything you need. Working in pairs of 2 is great, cruising around town cutting grass for our beautiful city parks is incredibly fulfilling and rewarding for me. Learning to drive truck and trailer has been great. Start time of 7:45 is amazing too as I can spend time with my family before everyone has to leave for work and school. Overall I love this company and have nothing bad to say about it and 100% recommend it if you love being outside and making our city beautiful.

Management is awesome, very helpful and flexible, great communication. Some of the equipment and trucks are a little older but they fix things right away and do what they can to get you new equipment or fix items. They take a lot of pride in the work they offer their customers and want their employees to be equipped and happy. It's a great place to learn about horticulture and advance into management if desired. They value hard work and strong output, it's easy tp get raises and promotions if you work hard and do great work.

I’ve had an excellent experience working with this company as a Fleet Manager. The organization values efficiency and proactive maintenance, which makes managing the fleet both productive and rewarding. Leadership is supportive, communicative, and open to process improvements that help reduce downtime and control costs
The workplace culture is respectful and professional, and contributions are recognized. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a well‑run organization that values accountability, teamwork, and long‑term growth.

The co workers were wonderful. Really collaborative environment!

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Do not work for this company if you want to further your career. They run the office manager scam every season and don’t tell you it’s only temp. Then they set it up so you want to quit 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
With your co workers? Collaboratively speaking one of the best . Lots of team work

They promise $22 to $30 an hour, but only pay technicians/ leads: $18 to $20 an hour. 
High turn over rate due to poor management. Management is very condecending towards technicians and will literally terminate employees for not being "ambitious enough".
The communication between staff and management is extremely poor with Late to no responses, and poor instructions for tasks.

  building Allen block walls
- The hardest part of the job is the weight of everything. In 
  landscaping it is not a lite job, concrete blocks or pavers to big 
  plants
- The most enjoyable part of the job was being able to be outside and 
  enjoy working with my hands.

Poor equipment, poor management and poor collaboration make a simple job difficult. Most workers have not received a wage increase in a year. The atmosphere of politics makes the job feel as though you're on he outside of a social group, because you are. There are few, if any, chances to climb and grow at this company. 

transformations is a great company covering construction and maintenance across the lower fraser valley. Managers encourage growth and education in the industry as long as your willing to do the work and you are paid well for your skills and knowledge.

I love the shop and crew teams that I got assigned to. I have a great relationship with my manager. There's lots of communication which is very important to me. And it feels like a proper team environment. And I like the fact that I'm still able to be there for my kids and still get full-time hours.
