Company have no structures.  It is managed by staff within the company as the current GM is clueless of the whole construction operation.

GM plus owner is mindless of their staff and are very selfish and self-centred.  They don't listen to the problem and warnings, then when you quit, they make it like it is all your own fault.

No one is valued in this company.  Only good for those that is waiting for a PR status or foreigners to start somewhere to learn for a stepping stone.  This is how this company under-pays you and hold you hostage until you have your own way out.

If you have potentials, don't even think of working for a company like VGC.  

This company's turnover rate is extremely high as the pay is super low (not within industry standards)

Management was approachable, communication was clear, and I appreciated the opportunity to learn and grow while working on a variety of renovation projects. It was rewarding to be part of a company that values craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Absolutely a last resort company. They will fire you with zero notice. They have done it to me and many before me, according to coworkers. No one lasts longer than a year. People work through their lunch breaks to meet deadlines and some stay well past closing hours unpaid due to the level of stress put on by management. Management is blatantly rude to employees and customers. They would rather be doing something wrong or pretending to work for hours instead of giving the owner a call for clarification. Terrible company.

I worked there for over 2 years. Management over inflated markups making it difficult to sell and also would use sub par materials than what Customers had approved. Every step was made to force Customers into paying for more than they could afford. I first hand saw some couples fight and argue because their project with us caused so much strife between them.

I truly enjoyed working at this company. The management is approachable, the team is supportive, and the workplace promotes collaboration and respect. There are opportunities to develop new skills, and employees are encouraged to do their best. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

One of the best experiences I was given was the leadership role at this company, with personal life difficulties causing me to leave, I will always regret walking away from this position with unlimited opportunity potential.

A renovation company started by individuals with little to no experience in renovations who hire others with even less to sub contract from the cheapest trades possible with the maximum billing. 

Buy low sell high. 

Leave the office feeling sick and run down all the time

Great opportunity for students and foreign workers who are ready to work for free and get some experience to move forward to where they actually can have carrier and opportunity to grow as professionals.

Environment is aggressive and people does not treat at the same way, Project manager does not have required authority, Company does not have a good reputation among costumers
