WFG is an entrepreneurial firm. How much we earn depends on how many families we help. We work as teams, & our structure ensures that people are encouraged to help one another. It's the job of the experienced to assist the less experienced,. 

We are licensed insurance & securities brokers with a huge tool box, working with a wide range of companies. We work on an education-first basis, never charging our clients. Instead, we're compensated by the companies whose products we choose as best fit our clients' needs. Our compensation is the same, whichever company we choose - this keeps us unbiased. 

We share with families a wealth of information that the traditional industry does not assist middle-income families in learning. We give people access to services they may not otherwise have access to, or even know about. This includes families who come to us when they are massively in debt.

We're structured in a way similar to RE/MAX. However, a chief difference is that those who we bring up in the business, & who surpass us, become an asset rather than our competition. Like real estate, most people with WFG begin part-time while working full-time or part-time elsewhere.

A typical day includes talking with people about what we do, as we are warm-market & referral based. Meeting with clients at the office or at their kitchen table, both for business & for field training purposes; meetings & communications with our product providers, looking for the right products to fit our clients' specific needs; product provider training, where we learn the differences between companies & how to know when & where a particular product is appropriate; conducting presentations & classes for agents & clients both.

The most difficult part of the work, probably for most of us, is learning to speak with people in a very purposeful way. The most enjoyable part is seeing the changes we can make for our clients, & seeing ourselves & our colleagues grow.

I’ve been an active agent for 3 years and it’s an amazing opportunity because you can learn so much for just $150+tax becoming a student member. 

Your teammates will teach you life and business skills that you can take to any industry even if you end up not staying long-term or want to be part-time at WFG. 

Licensing costs vary from province to province. As of 2023 in BC, it’s $285 including the government licensing fee + your E&O insurance of $60.90 per month and whatever your office rent is. My licensing expenses come up to about $2,300/year. I have also made that same amount in a single commission. It’s very easy to cover your annual expenses even if you’re a casual agent like me. 

It’s also the cheapest practical education I’ve ever received. I’ve used much of what I’ve learned here and applied to my other business with profitable results. The community and support is also the best I could ever ask for. (Keep in mind that I am also on the “green” side aka World System Builder)

But beware, like any office with independent agents like realtors, some people are commission over the mission. Choose your team wisely and don’t rely on your teammates forever. You have to be self-motivated or very coachable to be successful in this business. 

Please note that there is a lot of “hype” language in WSB/WFG. Some people get way too excited about this opportunity and have unrealistic expectations. Then they get bummed out when they don’t magically hit their massive income goals within 6 months. Those people account for a lot of the reviews I’ve read on the internet. They are also the people who don’t take good care of the clients and then their clients leave WFG bad reviews. 

In my experience so far, the people who truly care about others and pay it forward with the financial literacy campaign are the most successful and therefore generate significant passive income. Self-serving agents will be weeded out because nobody will want to collaborate with them and their clients will leave. 

If you’re still on the fence, spend time with the team you’re thinking of joining. Go to all their free workshops and/or the “Trainer Academy” conference.

I would first like to mention that this organisation is a business system platform to enable its associates to be independent business owners, with a great support network and a system that works.  Each associate is meant to follow a proven system with the highest ethics.

If you are a person with an open mind and love people, with desire to help others have a better life, this is by far the best organisation for you.  The more advance you are with regards to a positive mindset, the faster you would recognise this truth and the more successful you will be.  Please feel free to not take my word for it; read the book, The Truth About World Financial Group, that was written by Steve Siebold after 13 years of unbiased independent study into this organisation.

Even if I were someone with a negative mindset, I would have a challenge being able to write negative reviews about this organisation.  I am very grateful that a few brave men, stake everything they had, on building this amazing organisation.  I first benefited from the help of an associate with my financial solutions, which significantly exceeded those from other financial institution (Banks and insurance companies).  This led me to request becoming part of it.

For people who do not have a positive mindset, unless they are willing to change, the WFG opportunity may be challenging.  This is because it requires effort first and payment comes with results.  If a person becomes part of this organisation for the wrong reasons, then such a person could find it challenging to grow mentally, improve their mindset and develop the desire to help others who need help with financial education and suitable products.

Pros:
Too much to list all but a some include, love for people, positively changing lives, amazing education, great team spirit and team work, limitless income, positive powerful environment, learning from great leaders, association with wonderful people and lots more.

Cons:
Effort first, pay after: You have to be willing to develop yourself and try until you succeed.

WFG is HUUUUUGE. When reviewing it- take that into account. They are backed by a company whose assets make up about the same as Apple, IBM and Wal-Mart put together. There will be lots of mixed reviews. Try to find reviews from people close to you (same province/state).

WFG is misunderstood by way too many. Overall, it is a great company. 
Chances are anyone who has a negative review while working with them didn’t have a great upline. It really revolves around being on a great team. 

No, it is NOT a pyramid. It is not MLMs sale. No. it is NOT a scam!!

Guys, you will not be going door-to-door selling vacuums or other unnecessary products. No. These are products to better improve people’s lives. You start by improving yours, helping family and friends and growing from there. 

Recruiting is an option. If you don’t want to recruit- that is fine! No one can make you recruit. If you just want to help people and set them up with products- that is okay!

Although your SMD will encourage you to make calls, to prospect, recruit, build an empire- NO ONE is making you do it. You have control of your own WFG-Vehicle. You choose the pace and where you want to go. 

Don’t miss out on this opportunity! It’s a wonderful company!
You will learn so much, you will help people, you will make a good commission (so long as you are putting in the work and finding clients to give products to) and you will (hopefully) feel super loved by your teammates. Don’t let online reviews sway you too much. If someone is trying to recruit you, get to know them really well, go check out the office, sit in on some BPMs, let them build a plan for you and show you how it works. 

It’s cheap to get started. Worst comes to worst, it’s not for you and you are out a very minimal amount of money. If you at least complete the course and such- I’m sure you’ll learn very valuable things in there. I know I did!

If you are a motivated, resourceful and hard working individual, this is an environment where you can excel.  The opportunity with WFG is such that you can build a business as big or as small as you want.  

Compared to the cost of starting any other type of business, getting started with WFG is peanuts.  What a lot of the dissenting voice on the internet don't tell you is that 3/4 of the cost of getting started with WFG (apprx $550) is spent obtaining the books and website access to study for provincially-mandated examinations, writing those exams and licensing fees.  A significant part of the curriculum is on PROFESSIONALISM and ETHICS!!  We work in a highly regulated industry and the majority of the money we pay to become part of the company is to obtain a license that the Province we live in tells us we have to have in order to carry on our business.  

The cost of this licensing process was well worth the price of admission as it is all the people in my life that I love and care about that are being helped because of my new-found knowledge, foremost among those people are my children and their children, who will now never have to worry about their financial future thanks to me.  

If you are tired of working for a BOSS, are interested in never again having someone tell you that you have a capped income AND want to positively impact yours and other people's lives, then this is the place for you.

WARNING:  This is no "get rich quick" scheme.  It is hard work that takes time, a desire to learn and being very coachable.  The only way you will fail is to quit....and unfortunately there are a lot of quitters out there who simply don't have the work ethic and mental toughness to survive in this business.  When you see a negative review of World Financial Group, this has come from a QUITTER....someone who wasn't willing to put forth the necessary effort  and dedication that is required.

Within a few months I had written my exams. It took me more time because I was working full time but it was easy enough with their online tutoring program. It only took 3 zoom sessions and I went to write them downtown. They often pay for training if you finish within a certain amount of time but really you only need $150 to begin your training and they reimburse you. Now you can write the exams online and I do many of my client meetings online these days. I passed my exams the first time and I'm working on a mutual fund license now with lots of support from my team members that already passed the exams. People that are not a part of my team and in no way benefit from my advancement help me often and give me their numbers to be in touch with advice.

Within a few months I saw my pensions and my husband's past pensions turned around completely and making money. Our TFSA's were well invested and diversified and we had life insurance where we never through we would be able to for my husband because he was uninsurable. I've saved so many people money on their policies.

The team meetings are inspiring, productive and positive and they refuse to bash the reputation of other companies. The leadership invests a lot in their teams with dinners, swag, recognition, awards, and special events that they go all out for as well as taking the team on amazing vacations. 

I often get contacted by other insurance/investment firms to try and poach me and I'll never leave because their training is about scaring people and WFG's is about educating and empowering people to make better choices.

The Company is an Amazing Platform to build your very own Business. The Company has a Great Partnership with Major Players in the Financial Industry which allows us to provide a service to the client unlike any other Financial Service company. World Financial Group offers all the support and training required to get start and on going Education in an ever changing industry. The Culture is about unity and working together for one common Goal, which is to Educate as many Family as possible, allowing them to learn about Finances, how to get their money working hard for them as well as being able to make better informed decisions on their family's financial situation. A Big part of the Business is about building and developing your Mind set, WFG bring's out the winner within you because of the phenomenal weekly training from our Fantastic leader's in our industry from top to bottom.  The hardest part of the business is like any other business, you must be willing to work hard and put in the time and not let the haters bring you down. If you can get through the haters and na-sayer's and maintain your focus you'll have a business that will pay you for the rest of your life, regardless if you are active or not. What I enjoy the most about WFG is that I'm truly privilege to sit down with Amazing Family's and Educate them  on Finances and in particular Educating them on the importance of Proper Protection. In such a short time I have met some really incredible people that have change my life in such a positive way and in turn I have been able to impact their lives and give them an Education on Finances that they would not find anywhere else and opportunity that most likely they would not be offered.

I would like to congratulate to those who are part of it , understanding the business and enjoying the beauty of providing services to families and friends. This company gives you opportunity to be a leader. 
My husband and I was in secured job. At that time we did not have friends. Some of the colleagues were good known people but we cannot call them those type of friends to whom we can rely upon or enjoy with the family whenever we want.
After joining WFG our life took turn. My kids got many more friends, we got beautiful new families around now and then, who gets so close that we feel the togetherness in any kind of situation.
I see sparks in every team member as I believe that the strongest reason of happiness is meeting people and helping them. This is what every team member is doing. Mentors are so helpful that you feel comfortable asking any help in developing your own business. Its a different world.
It is important to know for everyone that how to manage and grow your earned money with proper financial planning. This company educate you for yourself , your family and give you opportunity to teach your near and dears that can help them to grow with the pace of today and tomorrow. Doing this business helps you earn money while enjoying with socialising , meeting people and helping them in the best way.
I understand that it takes efforts to build your business, which is the truth in any type of business, but its worth it. When families do it together and support each other , you do not have to balance your life. It gets balanced on its own.

Listen. This is one of the best-run companies out there, and for anyone who has run their own business before or been in a sales role, you will be blown away by the resources, support, and systems of this company.
If you have never been in sales or owned a business, you will still be blown away by the resources, support, and systems of this company.
Most of all though, its the people at World Financial Group that make it what it is.
A typical day is whatever you make it. You can be part-time while you learn the industry, or you can become full-time. You spend your day either setting up or holding meetings with clients and potential clients to help them get into better financial shape, get better deals on financial services, and just get better educated about personal finance. The meetings are either in the office or at the client's home.

Workplace culture is among the best I've seen. There is spousal support, spouses are invited and included in free trips that you can win through contests. Everyone here wants you to and helps you to develop into the person who will win here. 

The hardest part of the job is getting over your fear of rejection, of people saying no.

Our product, business, and leadership are all top level and it shows.

WFG is a system where it allows people to learn and access financial products from well-known financial companies like banks, investment companies, and insurance companies.  

WFG is a better way for you to learn and get help with finance.  They use a network marketing model to reach out and help more people.  New associates can help the people they know by referring to the experienced advisors who are in the business for a long period of time while they learn to become ones in the future.  

When you become an experienced advisor, then people in your team will refer their friends and families to you.  You don't have to door knock or make a cold call to find clients.  More and more people are getting help this way regardless if you are rich or you are poor.   

The learning environment is very useful with in-house and product partner company training.  Everyone is friendly and has positive goals and thoughts to help educate more people with their personal finance which we don't get from schools or our parents.  

If you want to learn and get good at your personal finance, it is a place to come and learn.  People are the greatest assets. So if you want to start building a meaningful business on a financial career with a little investment, it is also the place for you to come and learn as well.
