The job started out good, management was easy to work with, along with the staff.

Over the course of a few months, things took a complete turn.
My job suddenly involved terminating all staff, and when refusing to do so, was told to hand in my letter of resignation.
Being told on a weekly basis that I could be fired is an awful feeling. Constantly ended my night by being so stressed out, I could barely even breathe two words without yelling at someone.

Three of the staff members have been working 6 days a week for four months, sometimes even 13 days in a row.

When it comes down for it, it's a good store, but the management is awful. When staff quits, the reason 9/10 times is because of upper management.

Head office was ultimately the reason for me leaving. They use scare tactics to drive results and fostering a fun and positive working environment isn’t a priority. 
When you invest and treat your staff with kindness they will go the extra mile and work harder. You catch more bees with honey. I think that is my biggest advice. Start fostering a better environment for your store teams and staff will stay. 

loved the co workers, and management. those above management didn't really  support their staff and show encouragement. very stressful and a negative place to work at. At the time i had great co workers though. I would only go back, due to the fact they sell unlocked phones even on contracts that is the only reason though and a slim slim reason.

I worked at the Saskatoon location. The management was great. I learned a lot from them and my coworkers were nice and friendly. I gained great education about Apple Products. I upgrade my experience and technical skills.  My biggest accomplished is customer management skills .

It was great being in the Apple ecosystem world.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Hours where there are no customers

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
No longer in business as Iworld. I believe their Westworld Computers store in Edmonton is still operating.

Really loved helping customers buy Apple related products but the management team made it hard to be motivated. Management would create bonus programs then cancel them. They would also lecture us anytime there was a mistake. Always had to worry about making mistakes.

All the staff is amazing to work with as are the customers, enjoy the environment and product i work with and sell. Learned how to professionally explain how to use products and teach people how to use them. Also i gained a lot of responsibility becoming a key holder

The team that works in the Kelowna locations creates the kindest atmosphere to work with. The employee training is proper which also opens my understanding not just knowledge towards sales but also technology.

HR department is non existent 
No benefits or commission 
Use of scare tactics to drive results 

Apply only if you have absolutely no other option.

I enjoyed being a sales person at this company. They treated me with respect. I got to learn more customer service techniques. I was treated like a person not someone with a disability.
