The team itself is a great team, however turn over is extremely high as management is difficult, arrogant, and out of touch with the needs of both customers AND staff. Breaks and lunches are unpaid, however management expects staff to work through both. Management expects staff to work overtime without pay/time off in lieu.
A minimum of 3 weeks is required for all time off requests (including medical appointments), and is subject to the whim of management, regardless of how necessary said time off might be, and if your time off request has been approved, management can (and will) without warning, go back and deny it. Staff are not allowed to take off Fridays. Benefits are terrible - 80% coverage to a maximum of $2400 per FAMILY per YEAR.

Management often will belittle employees both to their face and behind their backs to other employees. Management demands that unsafe work be completed, and if staff declines to do the unsafe work, they are fired.

I would like to give a fair review.  The good here is that the team in the shop is great, they are supportive, and come in with a good attitude every day. You will always get your pay on time. There is a neat benefit of getting a fuel fob to use (but it is taxed).

But there is a lot more bad. The management does show respect to the staff here , leading to a lot of good people leaving . It feels we are not valued. It is a rotating door of people and it is putting stress on the remaining staff. People who do stay also want to quit. There is no real leader here. It is unfortunate because we had a good team. But you don't leave a bad job, you leave a bad boss. I hope some good changes can happen.

Management is very incompetent here. Owner barely shows up for work, but will have no problem rejecting your time off. They are very strict on when they allow you to book time off, aka no fridays or long weekends. Owner and management talk poorly about staff to other staff creating a very toxic, low morale work enviornment. There is high turnover here. People quit once they line something else up, otherwise management has no issue firing people. Just very toxic. Avoid if you can - feels like a sinking ship

Management cant retain any staff here. No one wants to work here. culture is very toxic. Management has no people skills and no real qualifications and runs things based on his whims rather than reasoning. Feels like management's ego project rather than a real company. People quit often, or your fired for petty reasons. staff is not treated well or respected. Avoid working at this place.

 The owner &  managers retiring and the company moving to Nisku, I went back to school. But a good company ! If I was closer, I would have stayed on. Everyone was friendly except the manager, but he retired so all in all, it should still be good.
