Alquinn Homes started off as a great place to work. I started off as a really happy person who loved going in to work and even started an hour earlier and stayed late a number of times without expectation of getting compensated. It seemed though that was too good to be true. 
Each month that past by at work, more people were hired but even more people were let go. This company has a great idea of building a house in a 3-4 month period but it is extremely mismanaged which makes it hard to want to go to in to work in the morning when you're getting texts late at night from the owner pointing out things that NEEDED to be done. 
This makes work a more psychological problem when you can't even have a personal life without worry of what happens next. The construction staff overall were a great bunch to work with and being out in the field made for a great atmosphere. The trades were also a great group of companies, although even they had their days numbered with the constant changing of trades from job to job. That makes it harder when you're constantly looking through files and calling the office finding which trade is for which job. 

Overall the company seems in trouble. Perhaps with a completely different approach of management and minus a few overly entitled people within, it could pan out to be an ALRIGHT company.

This company used to value the quality of hard work and dedication, the family culture was impressive at first and you felt a strong sense of belonging then came the office politics and the backstabbing saboteurs that flood the office. If you are not apart of their group you are outcasted and  talked about behind your back. They even go to the lengths of lying to make you look less than you are to management. Who themselves are quick to believe their beloved team( which they don’t know stands around the minute they are gone and talks poorly about them daily) if you are looking for a company you can feel comfortable and will actually be rewarded for the hard work stay away from this one. Not only are you tasked to clean up everyone else’s mess there and fulfill duties of those around you while they take the credit you are made to feel you aren’t doing it well enough. 

Stay away. 

I haven't been at Alquinn for long but long enough to know how involved the team is! 
I do think some things get a little unorganized and lost because everyone is busy, but what job doesn't? The majority of the time, our sales get right back on their feet and make sure everyone feels validated throughout.
I often get my questions answered, and I feel a sense of worth and appreciation. 
The managers are passionate and involved, ensuring that we do the best for the company, whether that is for the employees or the individuals who walk into Alquinn looking for a home.

This company has been more than a workplace for me they are more like family . They have always had my personal and work's best interest at heart my entire time here. When you succeed you are praised up by everyone in the company. We all work together through every situation with ease. Having Owners care for you the way they do here would be hard to find anywhere else. I have never felt more confident in a work position then i do here. I will continue to work here and gain as much experience from my sales Manager as possible as she has so much knowledge to give and wants to make sure her team is the best possible version of themselves. 

Disorganized management team. The boss told you go right and the controller told you to go left.
Cannot focus on your main job because running around with different orders. Stressful being overtime or job never be done on schedule. Turn over rate is extremely high: don't know when you would be let go or quit. The reviews from 2020 till now is remaining correct. Salary is low compared with the job description and also works will be added when you are efficient.

Being around to owner and his wife

You tip toe around until finding out if the owner is having a good, bad or other kind of day

Everyday you run to always try to beat the last build days of construction and no matter how well you did, more was ALWAYS expected to

Absolutely love Alquinn Homes!

From the people, designs and willingness to change to meet the clients needs. 
Usually you find "custom" available within a set list or box of ideas but not with Alquinn. Here they want the clients to have a home that fits their own personal life style and needs. Not one someone designed for the masses. 

Management is great to deal with. Open to ideas and change. 

Designs are innovative.

People are engaging and fun! Never a day without a laugh.

Alquinn is a growing company, you have the chance to see something built from the ground up with passion. Some may say with a little too much micro managing. You are not given the chance to make a decision for yourself. It was a great place for a good foundation of knowledge to bring with me in the future. They know what they want to staff turn over seemed a bit high, it can feel with one mistake you are out the door.

Overall, Alquinn is an incredible builder. The leadership and the staff are all very passionate about home building. Everyone truly cares about home building and I would consider the construction team to be one of integrity. My experience working with Alquinn has been a huge learning experience and I am confident we ended the relationship on a positive note.

Management pushes projects before all components are ready. What was a fire yesterday is swept aside for a new “fire” the next day. Never time to see things through and be thorough and diligent. Direction/focus always changing. Trades/suppliers switched mid-production. No consistency, poor communication.
