typical day at work was essentially good, we made sure shelves were fully stocked, assisted customers with any questions they had regarding their vehicles, and also installed batteries, headlights (bulbs, etc.), i learned quite a bit as far as what parts went with certain vehicles, how to properly install something (batteries, etc.) smoothly and safely to prevent any future problems for the customer.  Management was good, they were very knowledgeable about their store and were willing to help you out if you had any questions, the only con to management was every now and then they showed favoritism to certain employees.  the hardest part of the job was lifting and stocking certain heavy parts, and sometimes working an 11 hour day.  The most enjoyable part of the job was helping people to better understand their vehicles and what they might as far as parts, and my team members.

Typical contract says you can receive between 0-20 a week, it's mostly between 0-10hours a week. There are sales quota in the form of WITT which is to sell related items to what the customer is there for, not everyone agrees to buy the extra stuff and for every transaction you do without selling the related items, E.X if customer buys a radiator you need to convince them to buy coolant,even though they just want the radiator.if you do not meet the sales goal you get less hours but it's poor hours already

you can move up right away and long as you push through

call outs and late lunches seem ti be the worst

fast paced and you need to be quick

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
its almost, always in rush.....

A  typical day of work would include, entering in invoices on the computer, other paper work, taking calls and booking appointments, Ordering and picking up parts etc..

Learn about cars, parts, testing devices such as car batteries, alternators, starters. Able youse registers, help customers, drive commercial trucks.

This place will suck the life out of you and not reward you. Super liberal company. They micro manage everyone. Make you run on two man auto all the time. Stupid meetings and conference calls all the time. 

Great learning and leadership in directing employees and customers to help with them with there needs for there automobiles and selling them the correct parts the first time

Low wages but lots of opportunities, especially for those with no degree, you can get ahead on hard work...however, if you mess up your gone.
