Great workplace culture. There are 3 rotating shifts and most of the team members all get along great and work effectively together. 

The hardest part of the job would be dealing with the high heat and humidity levels (over 40 degrees regularly) but the company provides extra breaks in air conditioned areas, as well as refreshments with electrolytes to keep all the workers safely hydrated. 

The shift rotation goes midnights (11-7) afternoons (3-11) days (7-3) which allows you lots of family time and time for appointments etc. 

After you are hired on full time you are allowed vacation days and sick days. The quarterly bonus are great as well as the amazing benefits and pension package provided to full time workers. I would go back to work there again if I was to ever relocate again back to my home town (Stayner).

Nice co-workers to work with, people willing to teach you as you need to do well in your position. Different engineering areas to work and many new engineering electromecanic equipment to learn from. 

Very nice Christmas spirit combine with different activities for workers such as sport activities, BBQs, Christmas party and more. Also has a nice green areas where workers can enjoy the sun and a very good restaurant with variety of menu with very affordable prices for the employees. 

Clean and safe place to work.  In addion to company support in career development for employees and space to build great long term careers.

Normal working day is 7.5 hours. Two 10 mins breaks and a 30 mins lunch. 

There are so much to learn and the work is very simple. Great management team who care every concern of the employee and take very serious of the employee feed back.

Co-worker is very friendly and approachable. Very professional.

The hardest part of the job in my opinion is standing most of the time. 

There is potential job advancement to become mechanic and QC which paying a bit more. Also, there company provide education fund  to help those who would like to advance there education,

Was let go after a month and a half due to the fact that if certain employees dislike you, they will get you fired. Was given no real reason other then ' you didn't meet our requirements'. Management was non existent and not helpful ever. The training I received was atrocious, the first and second week of working there I had to learn everything myself, due to the veterans/15+ years experienced employees did absolutely nothing but complain about your presence. 

Wouldn't recommend anyone to work here.

Fast pace work environment, with tight deadlines.  While working there I learned how to manipulate my time in order to export in demand product.  As with any factory it tended to be a bit gossipy, so I enjoyed working independently and developed a work relation with other employees such as material handlers to help my duties run smoothly. I enjoyed the problem solving and quality aspect of this job.

Going home after a long day of being underappreciated

Being mandated to work overtime everyweek for the last 4 years.

If i didn't feel trapped id go work somewhere else

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
On my feet 12 hours a day with little to no help, frustrated by mis management waiting for my day to end.

Better be young and fast to keep the inconsistent pace where you feel stressed from toxic coworkers and overwhelming expectations of management when they are around thinking the only way to run a place effectively is to push people to their limits let alone knowing the limits alone of the machines causing problems with production with no real leadership in sight including proper training, have a job stay away 

Great people in management who are always willing to listen and help in any way. The benefits are good and they'll even let you put your grandchildren (if you have any) on your plan as well.
This company truly cares about the health and well being of their employees 

The actual job was fairly easy, fast paced, the team leads were great too, but this is your typical unionized factory, bring you in with promises of pay raises and telling you how you should work a lot of overtime to get in the union bug then fire you for no reason when you only need one or two more shifts to get in, even after your lead tells you what a great job your doing, and if you don’t volunteer for the overtime they just mandate you anyway

As in most automotive jobs you’re task focused. After sometime it became repetitive and couldn’t see any advancement in the near future. Fellow colleagues & manager were awesome to work with, felt cared for as an employee. Would have definitely stayed if the work was more interesting. Good company to work for but at times you could feel the overall big corporate pressure.
