For the size of the company (small), the politics are crazy!  High turn over rate of employees in Sales & Service.  Major part of problems is owner's daughter & son in law.  She control service work.  He's recipient of most of the cushy/easy jobs (mechanic), hence the low morale & politics!!  Feed one relative, p*ss off rest of employees = great business model!  Work is slow yet they hire MORE mechanics?  Sales has totally been gutted.  No one cares about anything (quality of work, customers, co-workers, etc)

What is the best part of working at the company?
Not a good work culture. Lots of bickering. Managers are micro managers

Lack of teamwork creates stressful environment.

Lots of in house fighting tattle tailing and bickering 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Listening to everyone argue. Sister in law thinks she runs the company and does not mind her own business

Great environment to work in and the employees are great people who enjoy their jobs and are able to help others when needed. Management is okay, always pushing for you to do your best work and works towards goals set by the company. Hardest part of the job is dealing with upset customers or customers with concerns about a variety of issues and some are complex and require experience

The manager would not let me take a day off for my wedding and did not wish me well. Their mechanics told me they get paid commission and therefore do more work on customer's cars then necessary. Not a happy place to work. Very unsupported favoritism bullying atmosphere. Hence I was not there long and still achieved top sales award.

Lack of proper training of position.  Expected a lot for money offered.  Staff was friendly.  Service Advisors were always accessible.  Certain indivduals were hard to get along with.  Took months to finally attain position(as agreed with service manager this would happen).  Found that it went through a lot of people

decent place to work. nothing outstanding , nothing out of the ordinary. busy place. the owners daughter works there and once you are on her bad side, you are out the door. you wont even know why you are on her bad side. that makes it difficult as you are walking on egg shells. just a stress you dont need. other than that, place was decent. Avg pay

solid place to work with product easy to sell. the staff by in large was easy to work with. we tended to help each other aiding in our getting ahead.

Burlington Hyundai has a great group of knowledgable technicians, however the decline in hours and managements failure to provide appropriate over site has caused the quality of the job to decline in recent months

Owner's family were a detriment to the business.  Have a very high turnover rate of managers.  Owner seems to want more than is available and does not understand nature of his business
