What is the best part of working at the company?
If your not from Ontario or Montreal, you won't go far!! Management is clicky, so if they don't accept you they will just replace you!! Not worth uprooting everything, to be replaced by people they dont matter anyways! 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The French people only want to speak French!! Even though they are working in Alberta, and should be speaking English! They are also very entitled! No one from Alberta get treated the same way! 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The office life is super toxic! If you can get on the right crew and work outside constructing the towers you might have a better chance of staying with the company for a minute!! 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Depending on the day, organized chaos!

Very fun and enjoyable work with great people. The company however is not very organised. nothing upper management does makes sense!

Absolutely zero work life balance. From day one, you will be constantly putting out fires. you will be on a 6am to whenever schedule (i.e.  6am-midnight) 6-7 days a week. Borea will be your life. Your wife/girlfriend will leave you (guaranteed) unless you are the Director and get to fly home every weekend to see your family. They say they care about family, but good luck getting time off to see your family. Your spouse is not even invited to company events!

Extreme double standards! Make sure you lick enough boots and join the proper clique. And May the force be with you if you decide to join!

They interviewed me as a senior project engineer and I received job offer.
When I started my job I noticed that they changed my title to quality inspector for inspecting the turbine parts ! only for the visual inspections, recording offload times and taking the pictures!! I couldn't believe.
The project engineer job description was totally different with the assignments.
They indicated that I would deal with day to day planning and inspection .
Some days they asked me for inspection at 6 pm.
Long hours, work life balance gets difficult, lots of overtime and driving not paid, no extra holidays and weekend.
I quitted that job , generally you will make less than minimum wage.

salary, per diem, no official punch card

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
missing hours, weather your time card actually got submitted correctly or not, gossiping, bouncing from one team to the other, office people not knowing what they are doing.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
toxic, total lack of regards for security, do your work and shut up kinda culture. If you want to raise a point, you will put your career in jeopardy.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Way early in the morning 4-5h till late after supper. Cold long days. Bring your lunch or your gonna die.

Like most places the people you meet on a day. To day basis are awesome. Some truly hard worked who give it their all. But as a reward for that they work 80+ hours a week paid meagrely for it with no danger pay for the dangerous work the guys in the towers do. The management had a god complex and for every decent “supervisor” you have you. Are met with a handful of people who can’t do the works you are expected to do. But met with an attitude like they’ve done it for years. Don’t not recommend for anyone who’s considered a “ local hire” . All in all like most construction outfits good employees with extremely questionable people in leadership positions.

Not having transportation or grouping people together would be nice to hav3 a list of contacts for hotel sharing and a range transported

All races open to teaching in a fun way

10 show up 650 meeting at 7 stretching hassards and group communications

Getting a constant pay cheque

The management sucks they put there friends before the rules regulations and safety of the other employees

The environment is super akward the management gossip and talk about people like elementary school girls

The work place is super rushed super unorganized and then the often thrown from site to site and job to job

Working at the Windmills and climbing the towers everyday with all the extra weight from the harness and all our tools for the day was very physical but I also enjoyed that part as well. Our days were usually 10-12 hours in confined space and under extreme temperature at times. I really enjoyed this job because it was something new for me and I acquired so many new skills and learned lots about safety at work, being such a dangerous environment.

Fantastic people to work with for the most part.

Being away from family, especially parents that aren't getting any younger.

Everyone is pretty easy to get along with. care about everyone's safety

Usually alot of walking. Dealing with alot of different people.

Really good handling people. Better benefits and provide trainings.

Nothing, decent job and good compensation.

Wind turbines and solar farm. They make their employees more competitive with other companies.
