Bustard Chrysler is one of the most unorganized organizations out there today, the owner of the organization doesn't know how not to take a vacation and take a step back and actually look at how his business is running, management was a disaster, one of the managers left things so unorganized and was then let go putting them in one tricky position but the way they attempted to reorganize things just kept falling deeper in the pit, overall I do not suggest working here as you would probably have to relocate shortly, one technician felt as if he was literally being pushed to the edge by management on his second week at the job, and decided that it wasn't the healthiest of places to work and to keep himself mentally stable he literally had to resign right there and then. I say that technician sure figured out why he didn't want to work at Waterloo Bustard I suggest you look into why that technician really left before deciding whether to take the job offer or not.

Excellent opportunity to make money if you are willing to put in the effort to make appointments and follow up with customers.  In this industry you will need to be comfortable calling/emailing/texting with customers and asking for the business.
The pay plan and incentives are excellent and the leadership team is very approachable if you have a concern or suggestion on improving the process or procedure.
Monthly BBQ's in the summer and different events throughout the year are always good and the Bustards are involved in giving back to the community.  
Work-life balance is adhered to from the leadership team and for the sales team, they make sure you have every opportunity to sell the customer.

Great work environment, if you don"t need money to live. Be careful showing any emotion or they WILL fire you for a bogus reason. The only thing they care about is the sales department, and though there are many great techs, advisors and parts personnel, it's all back-burner to their shady sales guys. The shop equipment is all broken, or severely outdated, and they absolutely refuse to fix anything. There isn't a technician there that can make the hours they are in the building for, and no fault to their own. Between the horrible booking system and the terrible managers you will starve as a mechanic.

I have been employed here for many years now, It is a fun place to work where you are treated like family and they also have a great staff. It is  challenging some days but that is the Automotive Industry and it is great to deal with the ongoing repeat Customers we deal with throughout the years. The training as well is great and also much appreciated as they always like us to be well educated and knowledgeable and are not apposed to send us to any training if necessary or beneficial

No work life balance, you’re expected to be in early/late/ on your day off.  they will let their employees get away with anything without firing. Toxic environment where they spill their religious beliefs and have expectations you will agree. Terrible training, pay isn’t there if you compare it to other dealerships. Expectations vs inventory do not match and you will be in trouble. The used cars they sell often have issues. New inventory is hard to get (not their fault) but when all you have is used, your reputation is dependant on the quality.

Family owned and operated. Great place to work with amazing co-workers, from owner all the way to retailers. Everyone is great to work with.

Customers can be challenging to deal with but a great learning experience.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Clean, organized and a professional work environment with amazing mentors to help you grow as a sales professional.

•	Greets showroom guests in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner and determines the nature of their visit.
•	Provides voicemail for guests if employee cannot be reached.  Takes detailed messages when voicemail is not taken by guest and delivers message to appropriate party in a timely manner.
•	Answers all incoming calls in a prompt, polite, professional manner, transferring guests to the appropriate person or department quickly.
•	Directs guests to the correct department, notifies the appropriate employee that a guest is waiting.

I came from London to work here. Focus on work life balance was key. Able to make a sustainable income for the 3 years I have been here. Love the people I work with and wouldn't change it for anything. I like the brainstorming to make deals happen and the relaxed atmosphere day in day out. Of course they require to hit targets and that can be a bit stressful but all in all a great place to work.


Promise the world to acheive their goals upon hire little to no support fly by the seat of your pants training and dont make mistakes even small ones unless you can b.s. your way out because owning up and taking responsibility for your actions will get you fired. Seriously in need of a upper management upgrade due to lack of experience and knowledge generally good every day staff in the trenches trying to rebuild a broken dealership but not a first recomendation

everyday I would get a schedule of the appointments I had for that day, when I wasn't working on a vehicle from my schedule, I would go around helping other techs with their work or clean up around the shop. the other techs were really fun to work with, they would help me out if I wasn't sure of something and teach me things as I was working. one thing I didn't enjoy about my job was the long drive to and from work, other than that it was a great place to work at.
