No job advancement, no notable wage increases, no recognition. This used to be a good place to work, but lately its all gone downhill with the CEO stepping down and the retirement of Customer Services director. They throw their best staff overboard, even when you've done nothing but do your best and kept client's interest top of mind. Many good workers have recently been terminated with no explination of why other than repeatedly being told "you're not a good fit". I recommend avoiding the unecessary drama here and find another office job run by leaders with actual management training and a better educated HR department that backs up their employees rights. Aside from the politics. The job is really is easy, they hire ANYONE, easy paycheck, very low job security.

Good company to work for. Very fast paced during certain times of the year. Even when not very busy its still steady. If you can't stand on your feet all day then it's a difficult job.
There are many wonderful people working there and I have always felt supported by my team. There seems to be huge differences about how things are run from one office to another in regards to responsibilities from staff but if you learn to take everything with a grain of salt and not to let pride get in the way of you doing your job daily and just work hard I think CannAmm can be a good job. 
I don't feel it's a revolving door of employees (as others reviewing have said) as many employees who are there have been there for years or return to the job so it can't be that terrible.
CannAmm could do much better compensating long term employees then offering the same money to those just starting but all in all its a good company.

I do love working at CannAmm and most of the staff and teams are great to work with. Many approachable people who cheer you on and support you when you succeed and grow. Also, many members who support you when you're not doing your best. 
 Sure this is the same in many companies, but appears to be an ongoing issue that the "entry level roles" are difficult to retain. 
Secondly, Although wages are confidential and known to be "performance based" it seems wage increases are inconsistent from one staff to the next. Additionally, the compensation given for those with larger roles and more responsibilities isn't much more than the starting wages in similar roles. 
Last thing...I think nurse management could be more supportive if they weren't spread so thinly. CannAmm could benefit from more experienced nurse supervisors/managers. 

Depending on your position, the every day work duties were very monotonous and tedious. If you crave excitement and something new every day, this job is not for you.

Advancement was a possibility if you worked for it, and most of the management was decent. But I cannot say that for all of the management. 

The work environment varied depending on which office you were working in. The supervisors created the environment and the West office supervisor was good but the North office supervisor was terrible. South side was generally a great place to work, the receptionist is phenomenal. 

Best part of the job was the potlucks, birthday celebrations and the Christmas party. Worst part was the monotony of the job and dealing with a lot of pricks coming into the offices.

In my role, the work was fast-paced and often stressful. I finished my tenure here as a trainer for new-hires as well as performing regular duties of the role. I developed training materials and cross-training materials for the department.

Poor management led to more focus on individual propriety instead of improving job efficiency or general corporate culture which lead to very poor moral and teamwork. You could make serious errors and fail to change your work ethic and stay on, but if you were seen as even slightly less PC than the HR handbook, you could be let go. I'm not talking about racism, sexism, violence, or otherwise, simply not being corporate PC enough, though other blaring examples were also let slide. Favouritism and micro-management were rampant. I would not recommend this employer, though the job itself was well-paid and enjoyable.

I got hired here when nobody else would hire me so I can't complain too much. I loved the benefits. Much of the training you had to do on your own time so it could be very overwhelming and frustrating with a lot to remember and very little support from superiors. The work culture could be extremely catty and people spent a lot of time gossiping and snapping at you if you don't get things immediately (but this is most office environments I've worked at). Overall if you aren't good at problem solving and working on your own this isn't a good environment for you. Management seemed to make inexplicable decisions and there is definite favoritism/politicking going on there so just make sure to be extremely positive and say nothing critical while keeping away from the gossip.

This was by far the most TOXIC culture I have ever witnessed. At first glance it is unbelievably positive… however it does not take long to realize it’s all a facade. 
Yes there are people in management that have been there years, however they started out of high school and have no idea how to manage people pro actively or otherwise. Time & Money wasted in un-supported training…. With ZERO help from Management… they are very good at not taking responsibility for their shortcomings and lack thereof communication. 
Pay is sub par, if you want a position where you do not have to think or you are happy to do repetitive mindless tasks … and you do not question the status quo this is the place for you!! 
It is NOT a place for anyone who has a voice or a mind of their own! 
CannAmm is NOT what they seem. 



Beware, this is by far the worst company I have ever worked for in my 30years of working.  The management is terrible, from the top to the bottom.  Always changing fluctuating work schedules so you cannot make any plans. Minimal staffing which creates a stressful work environment.  Inefficient training, leaving one unprepared and feeling overwhelmed.  An environment where friends are the managers friends so beware of bringing up any issues.  For the level of pay, responsibilities and the stress, it makes working at Cann Amm not worth it.  You might as well work at a minimum wage job and save yourself this unwanted stress.  I'm so happy I'm not working at Cann Amm anymore, I threw myself a party!

When I first started at this place, the girl that was training me said....."I'm not a morning person", it turned out she wasn't a morning, afternoon or evening person.....what a thing to say to someone, not good morning but that comment.  This place made you feel like a child you basically had to raise your hand to go to the bathroom......all the girls that worked in my department were afraid to speak up for themselves, they thought that if they said anything it would result in there termination.  The controller....well she was ex-military and that's the way she ran the place.......worst job ever.  My exit interview.....well that was about 2 hours and they asked me if I would recommend this place to other people and I said.....hell no!

if you don't mind dealing with difficult donors all day long, finding out VERY last minute that you have stay late, be on call, work short staffed, never get a raise, no advancement etc. this is the job for you!!

forget about having any life outside of work. you have no choice but to stay late when its completely not your problem someone comes in late for their appointment and you have to accomadate them no matter what you have going on that evening

and if you are a nurse - dont waste your time working here, you will lose every nursing skill you have cause all youll do is drug testing.
