Ciociaro Club

At the Ciociaro Club I serve at many different functions such as wedding, fundraisers, galas, etc. I learned how to keep a clean environment, and how to complete a job in a specific time period. The management treats us well and fair. The co-workers are very welcoming and we work well as a team. The hardest part of the job can be working with difficult guests, and the most enjoyable part is meeting all kinds of different people from all over the Windsor-Essex area.

Would not recommend working here. The workload far exceeds minimum wage, the management is corrupt and often violates workers rights. If you are working a setup shift, expect to wait 6-8 hours before receiving a break, if you even get one at all. If you are serving, one tiny mistake can land you with a write-up or even being fired depending on the event.

Ciociaro Club was a hard job but i got the work done, it was fun at times but also serious. We deal with food, so we have to be careful with every meal and to get them perfect

The hours are usually pretty long, and the trays can be heavy sometimes. Usually, a decent amount of stress involved in a shift and we work very fast paced. Other than that the people you work with are usually very nice and easy to get along with, mostly students. You get to eat whatever leftovers there are from the event once you're on break, that's always a plus.

Working for Ciociaro Club has taught me to be a productive team member. Its a very busy place and there are many employees. A typical day includes cleaning up and washing up to and sometimes over 1000 dishes. Management and co-workers are very friendly and willing to help.

Ciociaro club provides a very safe, welcoming, and educational environment. It is a a wonderful learning experience for all types of individuals of all ages. As a worker, you develop abilities in many different areas of work; such as: serving, prepping, cleaning, plattering, etc.

Learned to speak Spanish and how to operate a dishwasher.  Management was easy to get along with.  Co-workers were fun and energetic. Best part was seeing people's wedding receptions.  Hardest part lifting crates. 

I had the benefit of working here as a volunteer first, with not that much experience. The management took their time with me and I never felt like I was left behind or pushed too hard. It was quick understanding and they were patient with me.

Cio is a good place to work at if you enjoy being with people all day and night, great group of people but the management is very rude and asks too much of the workers pointless jobs that abuse their powers.

Good starting server job where little experience is needed to begin. The staff is friendly and very accommodating to other schedules. Excellent for learning customer service skills.
