typical day at work is walk-in patients are make difficult  to organize  doctor's scheduling. we  discussed with doctor's, then I arranged to treatment on walk -in patients. Treat with patients very well care treatment with comfortable.

•Conducted daily physical assessments including a Glasgow Coma Scale, reporting abnormal findings to my clinical instructor and assigned nurse in a timely manner  
•Active participant in weekly inter-professional rounds to discuss patient updates and communicate specific care needs, discharge dates, etc. 
•Developed a pamphlet on how to “Reduce Your Risk of Falls” and educated more then one patient and their families before being discharged (providing copies) 
•Implemented the safe transfer and positioning of patients with paralysis following strokes, using proper body mechanics
•Worked closely with my clinical instructor to monitor vital signs and safely administer medications providing effective pain management shown by patients’ active participation in physiotherapy

A typical day is a full house admission with diverse cases. Medication administration takes a loot of time which includes preparation but I have learned a lot in a practical setting the indication and patient's response including it's generic name because we are required to write down each name in their generic form. workplace culture is challenging its a learning arena and I appreciate it. Hardest part of the job is that some co-workers chooses to pass on tasks that they should be the one doing 
What I enjoyed the most is that when you see how patients positively responds to the treatment and appreciates your effort in caring for them.

An amazing working experience where I was able to experience first-hand the roles of the Personal Support Worker as well as the Registered Nurse in a long-term care facility. Working 6 hour shifts, twice a week learning how to care for clients and assist with their tasks of daily living. The registered staff was welcoming and extremely helpful and willing to teach. My instructor and peers were equally enjoyable to work with. The hardest part of the job is refraining from becoming emotionally attached to clients, as well as single person transfers. The most enjoyable part of the job was being able to see the smiles on residents faces when you assist them to their utmost needs.

My experience at Microcare ENT hospital is a decent start to my professional career. After a long day of work during my internship in B.Sc Audiology and Speech Language Pathology, I attended Microcare ENT clinic where i was carrying out Audiological test battery for the ENT referrals and referred them back to the ENT.

My clinical placement helped mold me to be a better PSW.I was able to provide safe and timely care to clients.It gives me joy to be able to put a smile on my residents face and when they say thank you after I provide them care I feel fulfilled

Great staff members, and a very inclusive environment. It was an amazing experience to be working as a lab technician at my placement. I enjoyed working in a place with very experienced employees. I got a chance to learn a lot and meet different people and understand their needs. St Joseph definitely provides a lot of opportunity for learning when it comes to newcomers.

The most enjoyable part of the job was being able to put academic learning to use in a meaningful way by helping nurses manage er patients and receiving positive criticism and feedback.

It was a great hands on experience in a very diverse workplace setting. The residents and health team were very much welcoming and supportive. There was a four day programme off unit which was very knowledgeable with details and activities to enhance our knowledge and understanding of patients with dementia, delirium and depression.

This clinical placement was where I gained practical skills relating to being a medical laboratory technician. I shadowed other workers and gained knowledge in phlebotomy, customer service and ECG. The most enjoyable part of the job was helping other people and learning new practical skills.
