Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of hair care, styling techniques, and customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair services while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for clients. Your creativity and expertise in various hair techniques will help enhance our clients' beauty and confidence.

Duties

Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments.
Apply knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results for clients.
Utilize hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and other techniques to enhance client satisfaction.
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations.
Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to client needs and offering professional advice.
Manage appointments using salon software such as MINDBODY to ensure efficient scheduling.
Assist with front desk duties including greeting clients, answering phones, and handling retail sales.
Mentor junior stylists or interns by sharing knowledge and best practices in hair care and styling.
Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling, makeup application, and nail care to provide clients with current options.
Engage in upselling products and services to enhance the overall client experience.

Skills

Proficient in hair styling techniques including barbering, hair threading, and straight razor usage.
Strong understanding of cosmetology principles and practices.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Familiarity with retail math to assist in managing product sales effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
Experience with salon management software is preferred but not required.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
