Attitude is everything here at Dave and Busters. Come in with a smile and do what the job entails and you will be greeted by positive feedback either by customers, coworkers & management. Some departments are over staffed and others not, which results in people fighting for hours etc...

A Captain's job is more in line with Customer Service first and Security second. So don't go and expect to be bouncers at a club throwing people out.

Being able to talk a person down out of a possible violent situation is your best weapon. If you cant do that then dont bother applying. But if you come with the attitude that you want to learn more as you work then you will enjoy your time at Dave and Busters.

·	Acted as ambassador to the building, greeting Guests with a positive attitude and enthusiasm while. coordinating game rentals, merchandise sales, and telephones. Smiles and greets Guests upon entering.
·	Kept immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and took prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action.
·	Assisted other Team Members as needed or as business dictates.
·	Managed flow from the front doors, efficiently helping Guests with needs and directing as needed.
·	Managed wait times and communicated information as needed to Guests, Team Members, and managers.

Used to be a fun and friendly place to work but that culture has changed. There are several managers for different departments and of the recently changed management team, none of them are that great. The new GM is condescending and has stripped the fun of working there. Not someone you wanna work for or be around. Working in the midway (main room with all the games), can get very stressful with guests demanding that you clean their table (there is no host in this area, just a self seating free for all). Huge staff turnover rate. If you want to work here, don't bother with management. Just focus on your job and get your money.

A typical day at work is usually busy and straight to business. Jolly and friendly environment where you can have fun and be outgoing as long as your still working keeping the guests happy. The co-workers and myself all considered each other family. Everyone is friendly and sociable as well as the mangers. Good management team, they always know how to get the job done. The most enjoyable part about working at Dave&Busters is that you are having fun while you're working. You could be yourself and enjoy your shift.

Despite dealing with an endless amount of penny pinching Karens and kens, I definitely did enjoy this job. All my coworkers were so much fun to work with and the cooks always made tacos for the employees :) One of the amazing managers at my location helped me with my car when a mechanic forgot to plug my alternator in causing my car to die and wouldn’t start. Everyone at this location has a good sense of humor and always make my shifts fun. Disclaimer: the benefits here absolutely suck and  expect to work long  and late nights. 

Managers will favour certain people, and if you aren’t one of those people, enjoy the ride.
Most day shifts are slow, some nights can be as well. 
Money isn’t all that great all of the time, but it’s decent. Even on UFC nights on Saturdays, there’s 5-6 bartenders working with you so you’re onky going home with like $150 each person because you pool tips. 
Managers are basically 2-5 years older than you and are children, unqualified and unprofessional and gossip about everyone via group chat.

Dave and Buster's really is a wonderful place to work. The management does care and your co-workers are a great bunch to work with. 

The only complaint I had, was the lack of hours but that's not really their fault, as this is a corporate issue, rather than a location issue. 

I had a lot of fun when I worked there, everyone was amazing! I just wish I could have had more hours.

Gotta pay them bills! Either way, I HIGHLY recommend working for Dave & Busters. 

What better title can be given to someone who strives to keep the day to day work life fun to the max and provided "LOL FUN" 

From kids birthday parties, bachelor parties, bar mitzvahs to quinceaneras  to company team building activities and holiday parties from groups of 10-2000, we do it all!!

I really enjoyed my past employment as I was able to use my multiple talents (was really busy), be it team sales improvement, front of the house knowledge enhernacne and the back, 

At Dave & Busters there are always long but good shifts. While there i was able to learn how to help customers better and communicate with my co-workers better too. The management was sturdy and were always on top of things. I never really found anything hard about the job, sure it got busy but what work place doesnt. My most enjoyable part of the job was the games and food.
