This company's culture  was nothing short  of appalling. From day one, I was thrown into a chaotic mess where communication barely existed, and any "support" given was laughable. The CEO seemed more interested in padding their ego than creating a positive work environment, leaving us demoralized and scrambling with zero direction. It was repugnant how management could care so little about employee well-being, treating us like machines rather than people. It's beyond comprehension how they stay afloat with such a complete disregard for the people who keep the business running.

Leadership (specifically, Owner and HR) is one of the worst that I've ever worked for. Actions are different from what they advertise and talk about. No consistency, no accountability, and no ownership of mistakes, especially when it comes to employment (hiring/firing) practices. No respect or trust of employees which is reflected in the company policies. They don't care for anyone's opinions if it isn't in line with theirs. No direction or coaching is provided for improvement, but they would rather be critical, defensive and accusatory. Also, focus of priorities and business directives change too often based on what the owner likes/dislikes.

If you have any self-respect, run away from this company, because the management definitely has no respect for anyone!
Owner is such an impulsive, short-term focused person who manages with her "guts". She feels no obligation to keeping her words (she would say that she forgot any promise she gave), no respect for her staff (she moves people across positions without consulting them), demoting and promoting people arbitrarily! It's a freak show in a nutshell. I would never work there again. And she penalizes people who try to keep the work-life balance by demoting them without even revealing the real reasons

As it is not a big place, there are plenty of opportunities for one to get involved in many facets of the business. That could be a good thing or not a good thing. It all depends on what it is that you want. The CEO although well intentioned, is involved in too many aspects of the business. Not a good thing. As well has been known to make changes and restructure often.

The reviews almost stopped me from accepting this job/interviewing here.

Which is a really scary thought because honestly, every moment I've spent here I've enjoyed. The work is interesting and engaging, my colleagues are great and supportive. The cooperation and collaboration is beautiful. The management genuinely cares  about their employees and I feel seen, heard and respected by the leadership.



Do not waste your time with this company. The owner is obsessed with control and constantly hovers over every move you make. There’s no freedom to do your job without being watched and second-guessed. The paranoia is unbearable—it poisons the entire atmosphere. People walk around exhausted, defeated, and miserable. Sure, the occasional team lunch or social gathering gave a bit of relief, but those moments were short-lived and couldn’t cover up how awful the day-to-day really was.

The only bright spot here is the helpful and reliable coworkers who do their best to support one another. Beyond that, everything about the leadership of Groupe Encore is appalling. Management is packed with bullies who thrive on intimidation and cruelty, showing zero empathy for the employees. Their constant verbal abuse and toxic behavior have poisoned the workplace, crushing morale and making every day feel unbearable. 

Groupe Encore has an inefficient workplace because the leadership here is incompetent. Due to the leadership's incompetence, employees have messy schedules and delegation is chaotic and inefficient. We have a disorganized leadership, so I'm not surprised that this company isn't doing as well as the leaders would expect. 

The clients were awful repeatedly. Their poor behavior often brought people to tears. They were too demanding at times and became terribly rude and disrespectful when those needs weren't met. If you can't tolerate hearing many bad words, you'd be better off avoiding this job.

I would highly recommend you stay far away from this place.

You will be used and abused.

Work life balance does not exist. This place operates strictly in a micromanagement style.

This place is revolving door and reach out to any ex-employees and you will get first hand witness accounts on why!
