I was a bilingual agent for about 5-6 months, probably even less. There was a corner where are the Spanish speaking people would sit at and take calls. My job was mainly getting consent from these people to buy a product from door to door salespeople. 

I wasn't allowed to say anything outside of these questions that I was reading for them because that could cost them the sale, and for good reason.

I answered calls for both spanish and English speaking agents. More often than not, I would get English speaking agents on the Spanish line saying they had a sale for a spanish speaking customer, and naturally these poor people had no idea what they were signing and I was expected to not say anything.

The Spanish speakers in the office were given the worst shifts because we attended the west coast hours mostly so we basically had to stay until 11 pm. Some stayed until midnight. We only got paid one dollar above minimum, but I think people who were there before me got paid more. 

There are no benefits. The CEO is a weirdo, and I think mostly everyone I met that wasn't in the bilingual corner was one of those racists that don't know they are being racist. 

You also don't get paid for bathroom breaks! Which is psychopathic!

Managers there dont communicate with any staff or each other at all so nobody has answers to anything. No meetings and no HR. If your working in the sales retention dept you get paid commission only with no base pay no bonuses or incentives. You have to rely on others to enter your "bigger" sales and trust they were completed properly. There is no way to keep track of those either so most times you wont get paid for them, hows that to keep your team motivated!! Verification part is okay, just read a script to confirm the agreement, verifiers are making more than the sales reps! Low pay no benefits.

You navigate your days managing calls, meticulously verifying energy contracts from sales agents with questionable reputations across America. The boss and management, though occasionally cool, leave room for potential ostracization due to factors beyond your control. The pay is far from substantial, and the prospect of advancement or a raise is scant. Yet, within the team, loyalty prevails, and diligent effort translates into genuine respect. It's not the worst gig out there, but it certainly doesn't fall into the category of greatness.

Nobody knows how to do their jobs, mistakes happening constantly no HR or training, toxic

Toxic very stressful and too faced

Hoping that I get by the day without being yelled at over someone elses mistake

The sales operations is one big sales scam.
They rip off people by signing them up for a fixed rate on their electricity or natural gas which is almost always higher then the utilities variable rates. The CEO is ignorant and often says inappropriate jokes about gender/race around the office. The pay was fair but your scamming people  overall and there's no room for advancement.

At Ecs you will be lied to stating it is for customer retention when its really sales, they want you to keep people on at higher rates and deal with a very stressful metric. dispite trying my hardest It wasn't good enough, The job is boring and sucks dealing with people, the management is terrible and the training was a joke, Fu Ecs

Very good place to work. Loved the people, they were all so nice! 
I would definitely recommend this job, very good atmosphere. I would have stayed if I didn't have to move. As long as you are on time and work hard you will love working here.

It is an excellent place to learn to deal with people over the phone. The shifts are reliable and the people very warm. They train you with patience, and very well

Honestly is a very good work environment , the managers are super nice also most of the people that work there, the only bad thing is the representatives from the USA can be rude at times

I am very grateful for my time at ECS and have learned a lot during my time there. The CEO an Management Staff provide for  professional and pleasant work experience.
