Management:
Ah, the management at Floortrends – where ineptitude reigns supreme. Prepare to be micromanaged to the brink of insanity by a cadre of fossilized relics who cling desperately to their outdated management styles. Your passive-aggressive boss will excel at making you feel simultaneously worthless and expendable. The Owner of the company loves scheduling new staff for weekends as its a sadistic hobby for them.

I have been with company for many years, started breaking down skids in the warehouse. Moved to Floor Sales, and currently I am an Estimator. The days are definitely busy, and they are as busy as you have the drive to make them. When you join you become part of a team and you should expect to do what's right all the time, and put in the work everyday. That means what ever needs to be done to be successful you put your head down and do it. If you aren't prepared to push yourself to learn everyday and work hard everyday, this likely isn't for you. 

This business is a very self motivated, independently driven business. You get out of Floortrends what you put in. You will work hard, have long hours, have stress dealing with the day to day business.....BUT I wouldn't trade it for the world. I genuinely like all my fellow staff members, find the fellow staff and management group to be intelligent, very honest, straight forward and very fair. I find almost everyone in our company to be self motivated entrepreneurs and you can see the ones that do well and have the drive, will not leave. The salary is definitely very fair when you put in the effort. I have found a home here and will work diligently daily to ensure I put in a long tenure and retire with this company. 

If you are intelligent, self driven, want a challenge, a chance to have a successful life, feel accomplished, then definitely apply and put in the effort, you won't regret it.    

I have been working as an estimator at Floortrends for the past 6 months and I must say that I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. The company has provided me with the freedom to learn and grow on my own path, which I greatly appreciate. I have found the problem-solving aspect of my job to be engaging and fulfilling.

Being newer with the company, I have learned that you possess the ability to dictate where you want to end up. Hard work is definitely a good way to describe a day working with Floortrends. This job will challenge your daily organization, math skills, endurance and personal drive. This is a job where you are adequately compensated for your work put in. Fellow workers and Management are good at answering questions and guiding you on the right path, but ultimately you need the personal will, drive and dedication to make and create success. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here so far and look forward to making this my home away from home for the foreseeable future.

I have been with Floortrends for nearly 6months now after finding the Job through Indeed. From personal experience, I am glad to say hard work and good work ethic are acknowledged and rewarded. I am currently in training as a Junior Estimator, and working my way towards a full estimating position. The work culture is fantastic, with friendly and helpful coworkers who are always there to assist as you are learning and developing your skills. You will work long hours, but will be compensated well for it and the days go by remarkably fast. If you are a motivated, organized, self starter and looking to develop a career for the future, this is a tremendous company to work for. I hope to be here for many years to come!

Family owned and run.  Coworkers are like family.   
Earning income is great. 
Depending on position only work one or two saturdays a month.

I have been given every opportunity to advance and work my way up over the past two+ years. The work environment is fun and casual. My colleagues are supportive and always willing to
help me learn something new. Ownership and management treat everyone fairly and with respect. A great company!

I have worked with Floortrends for the past 3 years and can say without a doubt that I love my job. Most days are challenging but having said that you will find the time flies by. I enjoy working with clients to achieve their design goals while still meeting practical functionality that fits their needs. Be prepared to work hard but also be well compensated for the time & effort you put into this position.

I started working with Floortrends in the central warehouse and was given the opportunity to advance in the company starting from the ground up. With no prior experience in the flooring industry, Floortrends took the time and resources to train me and give me the tools necessary to be successful within an Estimating position in the company.
