Lawrie Insurance Group Provides a Supportive and Collaborative Work Environment. From the Very First Day at the Job the Management and Staff were very welcoming and always there to provide a helping hand. The Training on Insurance Products and Carriers was very well planned to complete in a timely and managable fashion. Management was in constant communication to ensure that everything was in order and feeling comfortable. The Human Resource Manager was very approachable and reviewed the company's workplace policies, guidelines, and procedures including Work Benefits.  The Company is well Structured from Top to Bottom and has been in Business since the Early 80's so they definitely got a great business sense about the Insurance Industry and how to treat and value their employees and customers. The Brokerage is also involved with many Charities and is well respected within the Community. I am very happy with the decision to join the Lawrie Group Insurance Organization!

There is room for advancement within the company, and they will assist in providing necessary training or reimbursing for external educational expenses.

There is a lack of consistency and transparency in decision-making, with certain individuals receiving preferential treatment. Leadership thrives on misinformation and fear, creating an unhappy work environment where employees are frequently reminded that they are replaceable. Communication from new mngnt often does not align with their actions, leading to concerns about trust, integrity, and overall morale.

As a 30+year employee, I can attest to the positive & thriving work environment with a supportive management team. The company has established itself as a leader in the industry offering opportunities for training & advancement. We are involved in the community & value employee well being through different initiatives. I have worked at Lawrie Insurance Group for a little over a year now and I find everyone very friendly and helpful.  It is a collaborative work environment  and I get to work with great people.  I also have flexibility in my role and support to meet personal demands when needed. I find the work meaningful and challenging and I continue to learn new skills.

You are over worked and underpaid. 
You end up doing long hours for no extra pay. They do not pay any overtime it is just expected. They give out pins to put on your Cubicle like you are in High School at a reward....be nice if they just gave a gift card!!
The Benefits are poor and you pay at least half of the cost.
