This school lures you and the students in with promises of great things but fails to provide. The biggest frustration is that they promise hands on experience but have no actual plan to provide it. Teachers are stuck using personal or student animals for demos and there are never enough for all students to get the hands on the industry requires. 
It's also helpful to have a low morale code to work here, as you are often required to look the other way when students cheat or push them through if they are failing. Great place for students looking to purchase their diploma.
It would be nice to see the school take a more honest and respectful approach towards their staff and students.
I loved the students themselves and truly enjoyed teaching.

I spent time working as an instructor at MBC, and I was appalled by the so-called leadership and their total absence of regard for the well-being of staff and students. They seem interested only in profits - they do not give raises and instead depend on turnover to keep wages low. They will not hesitate to terminate good employees for simply trying to improve things, and they show a complete lack of insight into how to support staff in the provision of high-quality education. I love teaching, but this was the worst professional experience of my life.

Would not recommend working here. Little to no support teaching students with disabilities, yet they take on students with learning difficulties and promise them the world. 
Management lays you off without warning (lack of job security). 
Weekly meetings are horrible-zero direction, then staff leaves more confused or annoyed. 
Some instructors get anything they want, others have to fight for things they need. 
Computers are purchased for very cheap, and but charged to students for $$$$. 
It’s a joke, and the reason I stayed was the students until I couldn’t handle it anymore. 
Run away, don’t bother working here. 



i worked for them for a long time. I saw employees come and go more often than i change my socks! 
there is zero job security: you could feel great about your job and work and then BOOM....laid off. I've seen this happen to dozens and dozens of employees here.
Completely untrustworthy employers.
They truly care more about $ than the students or employees. 
zero training, you're thrown into it and you just have to figure it out alone.

Chaotic, horrible and unorganized.

Awful and chaotic. No one knows what is coming next.

Changes in management at MBC have made a huge difference in the work environment.  I now feel confident that I am working in a place where staff are passionate about their jobs and the wellbeing of their students.  The new management  is a pleasure to deal with, they are reasonable and fair and I always feel like there is someone to help solve my problems.  

I have absolutely no formal training in teaching, yet somehow I was hired to teach Veterinary assistant students after 5 years experience in the field. The course outline is an absolute joke, and students are constantly swapped around and moved. I was forced to push students along who shouldn’t have even been accepted into the course. 

Colleagues and instructors were great to work with but management lacks empathy or direction.  Management will talk down to employees, make them feel insecure and unworthy, and will not help them do their jobs.  They are quick to lay you off when you don't live up to their standards.

This college is very poorly run. They push students in the doors and push them to start to drive numbers not caring about the student or their lives. Programs don't start on time or they don't run at all.

Low pay, mediocre benefits and terrible management. All they care about is money. They recruit students and promise the world and barely deliver on anything. They micromanage all employees and staff turnover is constant. Terrible career move for anyone.
