There's absolutely no training done, maybe did one week of training although they have a very extensive system and the steps that they take. Certain things were never explained to me, they talk to you like you're supposed to know everything, yet they fail to properly train. This place can provide opportunity for growth depending on who's team you are on.  The team I was on also doesn't make POC feel comfortable within their environment, everyone is in a click and its not a family dynamic.
HR doesn't even check in to see how training is going.
In my original interview i asked if there  would be training to which I was advised that yes there would be training. To my surprise there was none even though the previous person "complained" that they also weren't trained. They are obviously not trying to rectify the issue of the lack of training their staff.

 HR is basically non-existent, people are more focused on spending their time on gossiping around and being nosy on other people's businesses than their work, lack of training and professionalism, and no growth opportunity within the firm. 

Pay ranges depending whether they "like" you or not. If they do not like you, they will definitely show it as a Regina George type of way. They watch everyone's move - i.e. what time you come in, what time you go for lunch and come back, who you talk or hang out with, etc. Left mainly because of aforementioned culture and environment.  

The workload is not too heavy and pretty manageable as long as you stay organized. 

My experience at McLeish Orlando has been extremely positive. The management team treats staff very well. There are a lot of perks and benefits that come with working at MO, from professional advancement to team building socials outside of the office.  I am comfortable and happy coming to work every morning knowing my team truly cares about one another and is always willing to lend a helping hand. 

Office space is beautiful, pay is decent and most people were friendly; but on the job training was poor and expectations are never communicated effectively. Very cliquey atmosphere and the Law Clerks and Legal Assistants are very focused on gossip and excluding others rather than maintaining an inclusive work environment. Large firm with a highly segmented team. Not an environment conducive to happiness, health or work/life balance.

My experience at McLeish Orlando was rewarding. The clerks and assistants that I worked for were very busy and appreciated my assistance. The culture is pretty loose because of the hard work done at the firm but there is a divide between some of the administrative staff and the longer standing employees and newer hires. If you don’t fit in with the “in” crowd it can be a lonely place. Overall a great place to work if you want to work in the plaintiff personal injury field.

Have worked here for over a decade and really enjoy my time here! Great lawyers that will take time to explain and teach you and a lot of opportunity to grow. A lot of perks for staff like great rrsp plan, vacation time, team socials, and activities for staff. You definitely work hard here but the management does reward and appreciate their staff! Would reccomend this place to anyone looking for a long term employer!

Working at McLeish has been an amazing experience throughout. The management team goes above and beyond to try and fix any problems at hand, you will never feel that your concerns aren't being answered. Everyone works well together and as a team. They value their employees, once you give them 100% it goes without saying they'll do the same for you. 

I was employed as a legal assistant for 1 year and the work environment is extremely toxic. There is no HR department you are constantly swamped with work and the only solution given to you is overtime. Extremely stressful environment. They set you up for failure. High turn around of employees and Partners leaving the firm. It is a revolving door.

It is a very busy PI firm with lots of opportunity to grow and learn. The team environment is great and the people that work here are helpful and friendly.

Great place to work, amazing people, lawyers work with you and the firm is a huge team from accounting, to admin to lawyers. Amazing environment, great perks and work life balance is good as well
