A typical day at work is bringing steel into the building for employees, unloading and loading trailers on to transports, unloading steel. Keeping the yard clean of junk and keep it organized from a steel point of view.

I haven't learned too much about the line if work that I'm in as I've done similar things for many years, but it does put my experience to work in a good way that I like.

Management isn't terrible, they try to do there best, but for some decisions there are better choices to be made sometimes. They work very hard and have a lot on their plate, sometimes too much and it can show at times.

Work place culture varies from each departments of the company, but each department has a good culture in their surroundings.

The hardest part of my role is when multiple transports show up and knowing who has priority over who and how to be as fake as I can.

The best part about my job is I'm able to have fun at work, joke around with other employees, and I have control of what I'm able to get done in a day. There is a lot of freedom here, and it's a privilege that I'm thankful for.

Working at Miska Trailers is a great place as they give you all the training neccessary to complete tasks at hand. As a company who is constantly changing to improve, Miska has updated their system to create a better flow of work duties and responsibilities.
The employees at Miska are great, down to earth people who are very caring and helping to one another.  We all work together as a team and the atmosphere at Miska is like one big family.
    I definitely encourage anyone interested in learning something new and exciting to consider applying to one of the many positions available at Miska Trailers.

Fast paced environment where days start and end quickly
Everyday holds something new to learn that helps in understanding my role in the company.
Management is supportive; listening to ideas or suggestions we bring forward and open to change.
For a large company collogues are supportive and welcoming to each other.
There are so many different trailers available; knowing them as well as parts that we carry is challenging.
Customers are usually excited to pick up their trailers, this energy flows through as a sense of pride for me being part of the bigger whole.

Everyday at Miska I learn something new and I’m challenged to put my new skills to the test. I enjoy the rewards of my new found knowledge and I am grateful for all the help I’ve got along the way. My manager and supervisors are very understanding and committed to encouraging you to grow as an employee and a person. I have worked extremely hard to be where I am today and I have achieved many goals thanks to a combination of my own perseverance and the guidance of great coworkers and management!

Miska Trailers is a great place to work!  Everyday I learn something new and am encouraged to take on more tasks, if I ever have any questions I know I can reach out to my co-workers.  My ideas are considered and even if they are not implemented I know that management has listened to me. Miska has a great team from management to production and administrative staff, I would highly recommend working at Miska if you are looking for a job where you are valued and appreciated.

Metal cutter it was the best for me at that time

Getting out the big chassis after weldig

Cooperation , everything available for use so you don’t wait and waste time 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
All days it was typical and the best day for me it was Thursday

Long time employees. Love the business, work, people. Every day is a good day Miska trailers management is responsive with inquiries and requests no matter how big or small. They encourage forward open-minded thinking. We value our our employees, everyone is treated with respect 

Typical work day consists of reviewing a daily schedule of trailers to be picked up throughout the day, making sure that any trailers have been properly inspected prior to pick up.
Hooking trailers up to customer vehicles upon pickup, thoroughly going over all maintenance info with the customers.

I’ve loved working at Miska trailers so far. It’s been a great place to learn lots of hands on skills. The hours are ideal for a full time. My experience with the management so far has been very positive. The other employees really make the job that much more enjoyable as well. Lots of great people here.

I work in the yard every day. How many different kind of trailers we make and all the different places they go to. The management is always there to help when I'm stuck with something. Great place to work and the people are great to work with. The weather is a problem some times.
