I would highly recommend working at Myron if you are new to sales and want to get some real hands-on experience.   This is not the place to work if you have lots of experience because the pay structure is extremely low.  A typical day consists of calling as many customers as possible to sell them promotional products.  The hardest part of the job is reaching customers especially during slow periods.  Then if you do reach a customer, be prepared for some very rude conversations.  I found email was a more effective way to contact my clients but this is not how Myron measures your productivity - they still base it on "dials".

Overall, if you are retired or new to sales, this is not a bad place to work - the people are really nice.  Management is scattered most of the time and the sales managers are a complete waste of money.  They do try to make a tedious job more fun with silly games & contests which most of the employees really like.

A typical day at Myron would start with a pre-shift where the team manager and team members discuss weekly targets and strategies to meet targets. After that, we would all get to our desks and work hard to get through as many leads while maintaining company policies and reputation. It was a great opportunity to polish my communication skills and build rapport with business owners. Management is great, and the training department is more than willing to assist you with calls or call flow. The hardest part of the job may be the people that you are surrounded with, it may get distracting at times. However, if you are there to make money you will not let it affect you, as long as you are focused. The most enjoyable part of the job was the pay cheque I would see after a hard months work. It gives you a sense of accomplishment and pushes you to make more on your next cheque.

I worked at Myron around 6 month and i would never recommend this place for many reasons .
First of all the lied from begining such as no cold cals and many incentives which is not true !
You make call around and may more than 200 calls a day to businesses which somtimes the last purchases was 10 years ago .
One of the famous and stupid incentives they have i mean they say  its incentives is that in slow seasons if your team meet their target you can leave early however its not paid!!! If that is incentive going to washroom is also incentive or after work they allow u go home that is the most stupid thing i have ever seen.
Over all it was one of my worst experiences i had .their pay structure is the way you will never even get close to get comission but in training they just tell you good stuff but once u start to work after 1 or 2 month you will find how cheap they lied to you!!  

To make it short dont waste your time !!

Dreaded going there every morning. Place seems kind of legit when you start; they try to train you well and make themselves look like an amazing company. But once you are out there calling people trying to sell pens it just gets so repetitive and you become annoying to those business you start calling. Everyone who works there smokes so if you dont smoke you just feel awkward on your breaks. Sleazy people, sleazy managers. The pay is all a scam. Unless you are a smooth, savy, "I dont care what people think" type of person then you will do well!

I enjoyed the job until they started making changes in the company.
They tried to open a new compound in a Costa Rica. After the start of that we were all sent to different departments, allot of us left the cI company at that point...Then i hear, it never worked out in Costa Rica! Also they have brand name items that were so expensive that customers would not buy, but we were forced to sell them!!! If you couldn't,t they simply fire you!!!!

It was a good place to work, I really enjoyed the company structure and culture and it  was a great experience. The job involved making many sales calls, meeting metric targets eg, sales, talk time, and pipeline management. They have an excellent management and training staff for new hires and there training programs where done in a very professional manner.

Stay away! Managers micromanage you and only care about meeting their sales target. A supervisor is always breathing down the neck to try and get more calls out of the employee, but the call list is so small you end up calling your customers every 2 weeks to try and sell them pens. You never get the bonus they dangle in front of you like a carrot. 

Company is struggling and as a result has constant reorganizations resulting in layoffs.  Poor morale and poor benefits.  No 401K match, health care declines every year.  Lacks good leadership and does not have a vision of where it is going nor a sound strategy. Lots of great people trying to do the right thing.

Too much micromanaging, low pay and bad benefits. Still focusing in outputs rather than outcomes. Don’t waste your time you will regret it. Every month they have less people and the majority left are older people just waiting for their time to retire.

And Myron took too long to go fully online like it's competitors
