Working as a dishwasher has been a rewarding experience. The job involves ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are clean and ready for use, which is essential for the smooth operation of the kitchen. The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail and good time management skills.

One of the highlights of this role is the teamwork. Collaborating with kitchen staff and other dishwashers creates a supportive atmosphere. The job also provides a good opportunity to learn about kitchen operations and can be a stepping stone to other positions within the culinary field.

While the work can be physically demanding and sometimes repetitive, the sense of accomplishment from keeping the kitchen running smoothly makes it worthwhile. Additionally, the job often offers flexible hours, which is great for balancing other commitments.

New management is ridiculous. Expect so much of their. They have cut their staff down to a skeleton staff and expect them to do the work of three people. Full-time employees only get a couple shifts a week because they say they don’t have the hours to give everyone but then turn around and hire their own ethnicity and give them full-time shifts  All they care about is Google reviews and upselling and not customers it’s strictly profit over people and it’s embarrassing when management has no idea what to do.. cramming people in on top of each other (blocking fire exits)  in a restaurant because you want the money doesn’t look good. This place has become a horrible place to work for I used to like my job.

What is the best part of working at the company?
I m working  in pur and simple from last 3 years the best part is how we cook food it’s so simple and easy to make as well as our guest service it’s amazing

Nothing , it’s depend on person to person but I don’t think there is any stressful part

The best experience of my life is to work with our and simple . I learned a lot here

First day when I join pur and simple but after that it’s like a family

The food is amazing, the concept is awesome. Clientele is wonderful and kind

There is no organization, management is insanely unhelpful. The most unwelcoming environment

Worst I've seen 
Always being berated for the smallest things. Paying our if pocket full price for mistakes even if they're not made, so no wastage 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stress. Lots of yelling. Unable to communicate with 80%of the staff

I've worked at the Riverview location for not even a month and had to quit. Completely unprofessional and they don't know what they're doing. Took 3 weeks for my pay to come in, didn't get my tips either. Matter of fact you got to use your own money OUT OF POCKET for your cash float. They make you do some bs math that if you're in the negatives after shift you have to give them your money out of pocket. The place is extremely disorganized, owners aren't friendly, they've changed FOH management probably about 4 times in a month. I wouldn't recommend this location at ALL.

There was no “best part”. It was horrible. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Never knowing who the owner was at any given moment or whether you would have product to sell. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic and decomposing. Like dying slowly. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Me thinking about if I can afford to walk out on this job or if I NEED to have another job lined up first.

After a week of training with the pur simple trainers, he told me to run.
The training dragged on for a few weeks because the manger/owner didn't have a clue what to do in a kitchen. The managers were highly stressed during service, and many people quit weekly. It was hands down one of the worst places to work i've been at in 10 years. 
It may be nice in other locations, but my boss was determined to pass his stress on to the employees, and i guess the trainer knew that...

Very fast pace environment.  
Management at North York location are  very nice everyone is treated like family.  Feedback either positive or negative will be given from time to time about your performance but guidance and coaching and appeciation is always there. 

I love working at Pur & Simple from day one and have nothing else but gratutude for the opportunity to work, serve and being part of such a strong, hardworking team.

None, hours suck, corporate is super overly involved.

Super fast pace with no breaks in service

Stressful and mostly non cooks trying to cook

Just super busy with no advantage to the cooks

Pretty bad place to work at if you’re hussling to make good money. Owners usually don’t have previous restaurant experience just have money. Don’t know how to run employees and business. Company does not trust employees everything is robotic. Company founders are fake, customers don’t get real service with all the barriers we face. Training is a joke compared to other corporations, breakfast shouldn’t be rigid.
