this company is a  company that thrives off of cuts to employees' privileges. In a couple of years with the company I have heard the owner's name so many times as the reason why things are being changed, yet he never even showed his face in the shop to the most hard working employees and the only ones who are compensated solely on their work and not guaranteed any salary.

The management at the dealership I worked at was always looking for reasons to stress employees and make you feel like nobody's job is secure. They always seeked reasons to call out technicians, but would never back technicians when we were doing everything we could and still being blamed.
They are quick to do anything that benefits them but when an empoyee is waiting for things from them they take months, even approaching a year at times, unless you make a statement and refuse to do something, then they will finally stop and MAYBE then they will actually address the issue.

The hardest part of the job was waking up every morning knowing that you have to come to a place where your stress level is extremely high just to make a living, and then feel like nobody is there for support, since management always has an excuse not to be there when you need them.

the most enjoyable part of the job was the other employees and how we would find joy from each other. There were some good relationships formed, however the cut throat environment led to there being a lot of speculation about who is favoured and who is getting "fed" the good jobs, which lead to a lot of tension in the shop at times when there was little work  
Save yourself the stress, I would highly recommend avoiding this company for a long term career unless you would like to live in a limbo with your job and be stressed the whole time.

Typical day at work starts off at 8 am normally until closing hours at the dealership. Strictly being commissioned based created more growth as a sales consultant. Working in the auto sales industry you quickly build a strong character because it is cut throat and very competitive. I did enjoy taking on the challenge you truly develop a sense of pride as a sales consultant when closing sales on a regular bases. My team at the dealership was amazing everyone was honest and helped one another to finalize and close sales when needed. Management provided us with all the tools that was necessary to help us finalize deals. They would allow each individual sales consultant to create their own deal and if necessary they would collaborate with us to help compromise and finalize a deal. The hardest part of the job would have to be the long hours if you were not at the dealership you were not making money and that would take a toll on your personal life. The most enjoyable part was working with my co workers and seeing the customers reactions once I would deliver their new vehicle that they purchased. Also being able to demo a new dealership vehicle was always a fun incentive for working at the dealership.

Working at Rafih Auto Group for 3 years was a complete disaster. The management and leadership are an absolute mess, with no clear direction or support for their employees. The compensation is extremely low and did not increase throughout the three years I worked there, despite taking on more responsibilities.

The work culture is toxic and there is a lack of professionalism within the workplace. Employees were constantly throwing each other under the bus or fighting for recognition and it made for an overall unpleasant environment. There is a huge lack of organization and communication, which ends up hurting the employees and customers alike.

The workload is overwhelming and there is no work-life balance at all. The job demands are unreasonable, leaving no time for anything else. There is also no room for advancement at the company, so employees feel stuck in their positions with no hope for career progression.

Overall, working at Rafih Auto Group for 3 years was a terrible experience. The work culture is toxic, the pay is subpar, and there is no room for growth or advancement. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a professional and supportive work environment.

A typical day at work would start off with myself checking all my emails and phone messages. throughout the day I will constantly cold call customers following up with them making sure that everything was ok with their vehicle and I email customers about potential upgrades or car services available tailored for them directly. I always make sure to walk the lot make sure that all the vehicles are clean and are ready for any customer to take for a test drive. We usually start all mornings with a team meeting setting each individuals goals for the day and are managers want to provide us with tools to help drive in more customers to the dealership. The hardest part of the job was the commitment and the long hours that are necessary to be successful this job is purely commissioned based so if you are not at the dealership then you are not making money. It takes a toll on your personal life however, I was willing to make that sacrifice to be successful. I enjoyed working with my co-workers at Mazda however, it is a shark tank and you need to have a strong backbone and character to survive. The dealership does provide their employees with good incentives like demoing brand new cars which you are allowed to take off the lot and use as your personal vehicle however, with the intent to sell it.

From the outside, Rafih Auto seems like a well put together place. Sure they have countless dealership with an abundant variety of car manufacturers to choose from.  But once you get hired you really see what a mismanaged organization it really is with too many managers, directors and everyone else wanting to put their idea/opinion into your dealership even when they’re not working out of there. The Rafih Auto Group is mainly a reactive NEVER proactive company and when something  goes wrong watch your back cause they’ll find any excuse to blame someone else!

It’s amazing how this company is still in operation. They rip off customers and their employees, try to sneak in random fees on customers vehicles and take off random amounts from employee paycheques. They hire managers who are rejected from everywhere else, and have no real sense of any work ethic or team leadership. Everyone is doing their own thing, turn over is extremely high. Seen many people come and go in the short time I worked there. Their policies are terrible and blame employees for everything that goes wrong. Stay away from any RAFIH dealership, as a customer or as an employee. I was promised a lot when I joined and the minute I walked in I realized I made the biggest mistake. Wouldn’t be surprised if I see this company shut down soon. 

Follow up with unresponsive customers and contacted new email inquires. 
Answered all sales calls and responded accordingly. 
Recorded all sales and appointments shown that were made by myself. 
Sent spread sheet to manager for review and advice on producing more traffic for dealership. 
Attended meetings for new inventory updates. Took videos for requesting customers. 
Upkept monthly quotas as desired by General Manager. 
Fast paced work environment made a quick work day but working with qualified professionals assited in all aspects of position.

Whiteoak Ford is a troublesome dealership with poor management. It has the potential to be one of if not the highest grossing dealer in the GTA due to its location but the terrible Rafih Auto Group does not have what it takes to capitalize. Instead they hurt their employees, make cuts to people’s pay, little to no benefits, no pension plan. If a cost can be cut, they will cut it. There is so much micromanaging going on here that your “manager” doesn’t have any power to make decisions without checking with the higher ups. I highly recommend finding another dealer to work at and avoid the Rafih Auto Group as a whole 

I worked for a year at Mazda with the promise of advancing in my apprenticeship as well as a wage increment that never happened. I really did not learn anything as the mechanics were all flat rate and it was a toxic environment, and pretty much got exploited with oil changes and tire rotations on their busy days, service manager and staff very disrespectful towards new employees, disregard for safety standards and terrible equipment outdated and damaged, unfair with customers on pricing jobs, allot of times just sat in chair and got paid and did absolutely nothing and learned nothing. The most enjoyable part of the job was when it was over.

My time with the company raised a lot of concerns about professionalism and transparency. There were several situations where business practices felt disorganized and unclear, which made it difficult to trust the direction of the organization. Combined with dismissive behaviour toward female staff and negative reactions to legitimate questions, the overall environment felt uncomfortable and unstable. Based on my experience, I would advise job seekers to carefully consider other employers before choosing this one
