 Jointly managed $50M in assets in coordination with investment advisory group:
o Effectively organized and carried out day to day operations, clientele support and grievance resolution, marketing communications, business development.
o Managed multimillion dollar stock market transactions, bond transactions, portfolio rebalancing, currency conversions and wire transfers.
 Identified potential target markets for solicitation and business development:
o Successfully helped advisory team acquire new business, expand qualified prospecting horizons and broaden existing opportunities.
 Collaborated with advisory team in developing marketing communication initiatives:
o Promotional radio advertisements, newspaper and magazine advertisements, investor relations meetings

Don't expect to find things like clear department goals, budgets or even basic communication from management.  It was the most backward organization.  You never know where you stand or what expectations are as there is no communication between departments or even given by the management.

It was a good learning experience, Was able to work with no supervision. Senior Management were very good but middle management lacked knowledge and very poor communication skills.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Most people were friendly to work with.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
People were not giving the chance to advance within the role.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
No comments from my end, if you know what I mean.

The time was short, but the workers were nice people to work with.  The management was nice to work for also.  The hardest part of the job was going to the 45th floor to work.

Interesting place to work. Most of the people I worked with were easy to work with. Management was overall decent. At times the environment could be a bit stressful as there were periods when things were in flux.

Workload volumes can be high at various times throughout the year and deadlines must be met. Pleasant coworker environment. Interaction with various departments on a daily basis. 

Working with the brokers has taught me a lot more than I would have learned at any of the big banks. Everyone is friendly and willing to work with you to teach you.

I enjoyed working at Mackie- all of the employees were genuinely kind, engaged, informed, and intelligent. The environment was respectful and professional.
