When it comes to pipelining, the good folks at Surerus Murphy Joint Ventures are competitive with wages, knowledge and success. During my time hired on, I had the ability to move up and stay busy even when my job on the front end came to a close due to completion or break up. If I had any issues it wasn’t a hassle to find help whether it had to do with job, lodging, travel and even living. As fast paced and crazy pipelining can be, SMJV and there personnel handle things at a professional level with a family oriented mindset. If I had issues, with being away from home for so long I didn’t feel out of place, I was actually comforted by other employees, along with mentors. I have nothing bad to say about anything to do with SMJV. Would recommend to anyone that wants to find a professional company in the pipeline industry.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Team work , safety minded people professionalism , strong leadership , I had a good experience working with Surerus, ℹ drove a bus transporting operators. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Mountain roads , driving in mud , off road driving . Steep inclines, safety is number one at Surerus so I was surrounded with good people 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Good working culture, the environment is mostly mountainous 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Pre trip , warm up bus , go to warehouse grab ice and water bottles, so crew has cold water to drink throughout the day , pick up operators, take operator’s to work location

What is the best part of working at the company?
Was great to work on a job of that size deep in the mountains 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Have to be prepared for all the elements and making sure everyone made it down the mountain safely

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Some of the best people I’ve had the chance to work with consider almost everyone that was around me friends now

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Steady paced and cheerful banter

No gossiping, no politics....just a group of hardworking people getting along and striving to do their best.
Very positive, high energy environment.
The hardest part of the job is working long hours...typical of the pipeline industry.
I am very much interested in continuing my career with this industry, and especially with this awesome company.

Wish I could work here longer. Everybody knows what they're talking about, and what they're doing. If you're new to the industry, no one will hesitate to put in their time helping you understand your role. With hard work and focus, it is also possible to climb up the ladder.

I've worked off and on for Surerus for the past six years. They're a great outfit to work for. I would recommend them to anyone. Pipelining can be a feast or famine career but Surerus almost always has work, even when oil prices were in the tank.

I enjoyed the work at Surerus in the time I was working there . I was trained to operate heavy equipment and enjoyed the challenges each brought. I learned a lot about the process of installing pipelines and the amount of attention to Safety that is required to work in the field.

Work was hard and long but rewarding, stern about safety guidelines , diverse group of people, fun environment but always got the job done on time. Great company to work for would work for Surerus  again anytime. Makes sure everyone working on the job is well experienced and insures everyone goes home safe.

Great work, wonderful friends, amazing outdoors in all four seasons. 
Great thing about this company is that not only you have opportunities to learn the best practices of the trade,  but also you can capitalize upon your unique skills, experiences and trainings of the past.

No leadership . No one seems to know anything . Takes a long time to do a simple task . People standing around with no clue as to what to do . Broken and worn out equipment adds to the problem . Safety meeting are meaningless as they never follow what was said at the meeting .
