Don't expect to get paid well. Everyone here is underpaid.
Yes, this is a good company to work, but learn as much as you can and get out.
If your lucky to make a good salary, be assured you will be let go once they start a headcount of overpaid staff.
Most of the staff is new here, as most of the good tenured staff have left to other competitors.
Most of the new hires are interns and contract workers, they can't fill positions.
Good luck to the current staff, what was once a great company is now managed by an American culture.

Scican is a good company to gain experience and get out to join better companies.

They manufacture dental equipment in house, but these workers are underpaid and not treated well. I have personally seen managers yell at workers.

A lot of good people have left scican to pursue better careers. I do believe upper management is to blame. Low, low salaries, everyone here is underpaid. 
From what I heard they don't even have product managers, as they have all left.

Stay away, if you must join, get out as soon as you gain experience.

I have had the privledge of working in several departments at SciCan. I have found that each department has their own dynamic, yet they work well with each other and have a cohesive front.  All the staff are very friendly and helpful. I find the work in each department meaningful and fast paced. You always have something to do and each day brings a new experience. Definitely would recommend working here if you get the chance!

supervisors are incompetent and have no clue but opnly to micro manage without trainign

Like most marketing communication companies, one begins and ends the workday with the exhilaration & thrill of having 'created' something tangible. SCI is no exception. Being a small 'boutique' company, it has the added advantage of being warm & cordial. All in all, a great experience.

Beware this company does not tell the truth about the role thy advertise. They advertise a technical engineering role but in reality is a office clerk role with basically no technical content. If you don't have a backup job, you end up stuck in a role that will ruin your technical career.

Great company to work for when I worked there. Interesting projects and adequate project budgets. Products sold around the world. Worked with associate plants making some products and subsystems in Germany and UK.

Most employees work on part time basis, are retired is an okay job if not dependable of salary, freedom to be away anytime the person requires for vacation or personal ,  employee works when available,chooses the schedule, days of work.Is a good company to work for, relaxed environment only the salary is not there to support.

This company with no training whatsoever and very rude managers.
the management does not respect you and it is a constant harassment workplace.The breaks are monitored like a hawk and if you are one minute late you are spoke to.

Hectic. Projects are wired with time management. All annual bonus paid based on the outcome of management objective goals, which cascaded to different levels of the organization. Very laid back culture. Work hours are flexible.
