When I first joined the team, I looked around and researched which travel company I wanted to apply to and through word-of-mouth, was directed to Solutions. At the time of applying, I was in a great period of transition in my life and assumed that I would be just another “anonymous” employee – a number on the books. It didn’t take long for me to realize that this was far from the truth. 
After nearly a decade of traveling with Solutions to a variety of settings (everything from fly-in-access only to urban sites), there is so much I could say here about how incredible my experience working for Solutions has been. From respectful and timely communication, to professionalism, humor, humility, advocacy, and care; it has all been there. What I will say further, is that over the years, Solutions has repeatedly gone above and beyond to support me (directly) and my family (indirectly) on a number of occasions when I needed it the most. What’s more, is that much of this support was unsolicited; it just came without my having to ask. These experiences (as an "anonymous" employee) left me with an unshakable sense of being deeply seen, valued, supported, respected, and ultimately led to the inner development of immense care and loyalty toward this company’s salt-of-the-earth founding owners as well as it’s exceptional inner team. 
I have had many opportunities to join other agencies, health authorities and employment platforms over the years, but I have always stayed with Solutions because with this company - I can honestly say with 100% integrity - I feel like I am a member of a larger family, and the opportunities are endless. 
I continue to work with Solutions and feel fortunate to have found this company; I look forward to my next exciting adventure!

I was employed shortly in their office and left due to constant discomfort in the workplace. The staff were rude and very catty - there was always a lot of office drama. Recruiters were terrible to work with and actively avoided taking calls and emails from the nurses. Management was disorganized and constantly pushed quantity or work over quality. I found out that there was been several people in the same position I had been in just a couple years who had also left under similar circumstances. I constantly felt belittled and dreaded going into work every day. It's a shame because I LOVED the work itself but the people round me ruined the experience for me.

I've been a contract staff with Solutions for 9 years and in that time I've seen a huge change in this company. I used to feel very valued but now, I'm just a contract for them. The pay and benefits have not changed since I started with them and are far from on par with other staffing agencies.
The recruiters used to work hard to get you contracts now they rarely even reply to your emails. Contracts that used to take a week or two to secure now take multiple weeks if the proposal gets sent to the facility at all, which unfortunately happens way to often. 
Once a great company, now not so much.

The employer goes out of their way to make sure the employees are spoiled. From ergonomic adjustable tables to office snacks in case you forgot your lunch and the blood sugar is dropping. You are here to learn immensely and are expected to go above and beyond and you are therefore part of a professional culture. I will forever be thankful for the professional growth and impact that the team has had on my career. When you have personal commitments they are flexible and often willing to accommodate.

SSI has the best work-life balance I have ever had at a job in my entire working career. We provide healthcare workers across Canada and place them in positions where there are barriers to hiring full-time employees, especially in remote areas or where the labour market can not sustain the immediate health needs of Canadians.

I love working here. Only issue is lack of telephone calls. Only really respond to emails

I have worked at Solutions Staffing since 2000. I have had many wonderful contracts and travel adventures. Any issues I had were addressed immediately and I felt supported. I would highly recommend travel nursing with this company. Travel nursing has given me a great work/life balance. The staff are fantastic from Human Resources to my Recruiter to Payroll. They all very professional and attentive 

Awesome Management and Recruitment team. Solutions give the nurse an opportunity to see the most rural parts of our beautiful country. Filling in the spaces where nurses are often at a premium. The staff here are friendly and polite and the jobs are varied and many. Travel is set up by the team of dedicated agents ensuring nurse are arriving when they are needed.
