My first shift was at the Ottawa TD Place, and it was very cool to be able to get into the arena for free, even if I only got to watch for half an hour. My second week of shifts was at the Hunt Club Golf Club where I worked at a concession stand, and got to serve drinks to pro players at hole 15. My break time was always accommodated for and managers made sure I stayed hydrated. I was often given free food during down time and I also often got a substantial staff discount on all of most items at the concession. Over all, I think this company pays well for the work that is required, and  it is a huge deal to me that they seem to genuinely care about staff burnout and work hazards like dehydration, heat stoke, and always made sure I took my breaks. This company is fun to work with, and is great if you need flexibility in your work hours. 

Staffs hop is the first experience of me working in Canada. Even though the job is temporary, you can get some other benefits while working for them including free food after work, engaging with people and VIP, getting tips some times and enjoy the very friendly atmosphere. 
They respect you and provide you a very standard job atmosphere. 
You will learn lots of thing in the jobs. 
You will get paid more than minimum wage plus vacation fee and long holiday bonus. 
I highly recommend to start working here for applicants as well as events owners to choose staff shop company for their events. 
I would never see any defect in their business for both owners and staffs.

I'd reccomend Staffshop as a side gig for anyone looking to make some money here and there. My only gripe is not with the employers or managers, but the kind of people that tend to apply.

A lot of the time you'll get lazy employees that see some Staffshop gigs as glorified field trips, just sit around do nothing and chat. This can reflect badly on the service reducing the chance of a company looking to use Staffshop employees again. 

Apply if you're serious and actually want to work.

Working for Staff Shop has been amazing, I have worked various events, including concerts and Jays games at the Rogers Centre. The recruitment and on-boarding process was very easy and the staff were very helpful. I also love how the scheduling process is very flexible and allows for a great work-life balance! Would definitely recommend trying it out!

They encourage you to refer your family and friends. I enjoyed working at the event with my wife and son. Great Staffing experience by hiring employees, not contractors. They do proper tax deduction and processes, receive weekly direct deposit and a T4each year including many advantages in listing Staff Shop.as their employer of record.

Management is great and very supportive. They are really considerate in regards to meritocracy and appreciate our feedback after an event on things that we could perform better.
I really feel the 5 stars treatment.
It just feels good when your work is valuable.
As for team members, it would not hurt if training was offered and more instructions about dos and donts.
Overall is a very good place to be.

This was honestly the best place I've ever worked at. The managers are always helpful and supportive on any issues, you get to pick your own shifts so it's great for students and the work is really fun as you get to watch parts of the event.

You hardly see a promising company who can meet the client and well as the employee's satisfaction at the same time. a great experience for whom interested in additional work during their current full/part time jobs.

I respect the service they provide for their customers and clients. The offer a good, presentable outcome for most events. They should just have better management when collaborating with other companies to organize large events.
