SUPER SLAVE ZERO STARS

This is the absolute worst company I have worked for. I was recently hired during their busiest time of the season. Please do not hire new people into your peak season as it takes 3 months to fully learn and understand everything.

Previous before I worked at Super Save Group, I had no experience working in an office nor was I familiar with excel as I use apple. I was more confused and lost as to how THEY did things around the office. I was trained for a week and a half by a Sales Lead Manager who did not feel welcoming, did not teach me anything as I mostly sat and watched her do her emails for 6 hours. She eventually stopped training me because I personally feel like she just did not want to. She was a sad and miserable women and I have absolutely no idea how a bully like her who treats new employees like garbage is a Sales Lead Manager. I was then trained by another girl who was very sweet, but to be honest, I did not learn anything from her. I was then on my own after my training period was done. I had no references to refer to, I constantly felt like I was bugging everyone asking "where is this, where is that" only to find out I should of had them in the first place and got all my reference sheets printed off, thanks everyone who helped me out. I also kept asking where everything is on my account system, again, only to find out that the head manager should have emailed me these prior before I was on my own. 

One day I was asked to step into the office and I was accused for using my phone during work time(turning off my buzzer alarm for my pills was apparently a sin..?), I was falsely accused for taking longer than my 30 minute break, but I do remember only a COUPLE occasions where that has occurred due to the fact I was not able to leave the parking lot as a co worker was blocking my car.. I buy my lunch and there is a wait time for food. I was also accused for calling family members off the OFFICE PHONE but I recall being told I can call family members if there is an emergency. Having a sibling using your card behind your back and having to ask your dad to send money for GAS is kind of an emergency. 
She then told me if it happened again, it would be my last shift.

Recently, the manager "let me go" which really meant I was fired. I was only there for a month. I was fired for screwing up new orders as a new employee who had to learn things on her own. But it also did not make sense as I had all my work checked over by a manager.. and apparently one order was not in the system but I have sent the customer his receipt to his email and I don't hand in work to data entry without receipts. Why charge a card and not place his order in? She made me feel like a fool and the other screw ups she had discussed as well are minor fixable mistakes. After she had escorted me out, I felt sunshine and rainbows over my head as this workplace is toxic.

I do not recommend working for this company to ANYONE as the managers don't show appreciation for the small stuff that makes this company somewhat successful, managers talk down on you, give you a hard time, point fingers and point out your mistakes and don't teach you the RIGHT way to do it. As for customer service, some of the ladies working there have no sense as to what the TRUE meaning behind customer service means. Imagine being yelled at by your server in a restaurant, same concept applies as that is ALSO considered customer service. They yell at their customers over the phone and overcharge them too that sometimes my eyes widen in such disbelief.

This is a horrible place to work. No one has your back not even your direct manager. Everyone complains about anything and everything. The upper management all sticks together and doesnt help anyone else. There is No HR their so you are pretty much on your own. You want a problem fixed dont say anything because nothing happens it just gets to that person you complained about and then they make your life miserable. They dont hire based on your skills its more you want to learn ok and you may have all the right skills & they get a less skilled person to be your manager. As soon as you speak up about anything even a Parking situation you get written up. Some of the accountants dont even know what they are doing which makes doing your job more than frustrating. 
You can't think for yourself or you get in trouble. The company has tons of money even to take the whole office to Vegas yet the wages suck. 

If your not a yes mam ill do whatever you say dont work here as you will get written up then let go. Its a toxic workplace. If your not in with the owner and suck up to upper management which is all family or related somehow you are like a fish in a Shark Tank. Honestly watch out, your back will get stabbed over and over. This company is a colossal waste of your time. The payroll is bad too. It took 3 weeks to be paid.

In the interview this job seemed like a great catch. Full benefits, higher salary than I've ever had, and "guaranteed 40 hrs a week". 

Once I started I began to notice that most of the employees were not happy with their jobs, they were just staying  because they needed the money. Then I soon found out about the relationship between staff and upper management- staff were quitting on a weekly basis due to conflicts with upper management. Everyone seemed to be scared of the big boss and seemed to do whatever they were told even though they knew it was the wrong decision, simply to avoid being yelled at or written up for non-existent reasons.

Other staff seem to have similar stories to mine.
I was injured at work and still haven't gotten any pay from worker's comp when I've been sent home early because I can only perform light duties at work as per doctor's order.
I ended up leaving the job due to management wanting me to sign a write-up stating that I was told to do something numerous times and it wasn't done- when in reality I hadn't been told by either of these people one time to complete this task.
I was told that if I don't sign the paper there would not be a place for me at Super Save Group.
I wasn't about to sign anything with false implications.

I would not suggest working for this company.

As supervisor I usually did counting inventory and ordering. I had the responsibilities of 
1. Merchandise like inserting product signs on shelves or placing promotional banners on windows
 2. Supervising the employees: As a gas station supervisor, I supervised employees and schedule their work hours. As a Gas station supervisor also trained workers on various safety procedures, such as dropping large bills in locked deposit boxes and watching for suspicious activity: people hanging around for long periods or cars that leave and return - anything that appears threatening or suggests a possible robbery.
3. As a Gas station supervisor i usually responsible for building sales and managing expenses. To build sales, they may use "suggestive selling" by suggesting additional products to go along with customers' purchases like asking lottery tickets, scratches and so on.
4. As supervisor I also one of the held responsible for making sure deadlines and targets are met. I also had to make sure everything is in order and be nice to the employees and customers too.

This company is run solely by bullying tactics and putting fear in their employees. You are not trusted to carry out your job and they are always looking for a reason to write you up. If you screw up you could land a meeting with the owners who scold you like a child to even pick physical altercations with their staff. The culture here is the worst I’ve ever seen and they do not care to retain their staff. They only care how much revenue lines their pockets so they can drive their over priced company high end vehicles and their fat mortgages while they starve their staff and have them in fear of making the slightest mistake. Their is zero professionalism from management. If you are written up for any reason their is no confidentiality what so ever. Upper Management, especially one of the owners sets the worst example ever. He preaches safety but is the first not to wear a safety vest or steel toe boots in the yards. Some Management have even been seen in open toe sandals! I highly recommend for your own mental health you avoid this company. This is just a tip of the shady practices here.

Fixing panels, bins etc
Very arduous work at times. Panels are awkward and can be hard to fix. Constant lifting and hammering. You can make a lot of money doing panels. First week is hard after that it is easier to maneuver panels and know how to fix them. Don't expect to do anything perfect here, it's quantity over quality, as long as you don't make stuff look like junk. Didn't learn too much, but built some muscle. 

Wear a respirator! they will give you one! 

Management is decent. At times they need to learn to deal with problems in other ways. Generally no problems.
Some leaders want you to do things that are essentially waste time and will not let you do them other ways. 
One of the owner brings food on the weekends which is cool. 

Coworkers were all good. Most everyone got along. You can get help when you need it, just ask.

Overall it's a decent place to make some good money in the summer if you can keep up. There is no room to move up. Would not stay for long.

The job has decent pay, great co-workers, and great immediate supervisors, all while having lots of freedom on the job. However, the role involves long hours, often working until the job is finished, and the work is very physically demanding. There are unsafe working conditions, such as old trucks and equipment, and while upper management claims to prioritize safety, they frequently contradict themselves. This family-owned and toxic work environment is run by greedy owners who only care about profit, not you. Upper management constantly micromanages despite having little understanding of day-to-day operations, which ultimately makes work more challenging and ironically far less efficient. Between the non-existent work-life balance and no room for advancement, it is a difficult environment to stay in.

If this is the only place that you can find that will hire you, go ahead. Take whatever training they provide you, and keep your options open. Work/life balance? forget it. We need you when we need you, where you need you, so say goodbye to any home life. Holidays?, well, "that's trucking", so don't count on it. Management? The only thing more out of control than existing management is the entitled family member millennials that are being groomed at present. Of course, they have all entered the company as "managers" of something,trained to drive Escalades and bicker within themselves. The only place this company is headed, is in a downward spiral, so be ready to jump when necessary. Be careful with your income, anything like a pension plan is truly meager. Good Luck.

I worked for Super Save for quite a few years.  The pay was horrible at first but when I showed that I was a work horse and put the company ahead of my own family, the pay increased to an acceptable level, though nothing to write home about.  The management was doing their best but their hands always seemed tied by the owners (out of province) and their poor micro managing.  No matter how hard people worked they were seldom recognized for it.  There were a few good managers until the company was  restructured.  A new GM was hired and all good managers were fired and replaced by selected managers (family members) who are not cut out for the jobs.
Other employees and managers left on their own terms not wanting to be part of the problem.
Good job for a small time, but not career material.

The people working here often point out mistakes and are quick to point fingers regardless of how it makes the other person feel. You are expected to do more then you can handle ex answering phones filling out paperwork, using the computer system etc and its not the job for you if you cant multitask. You are told that there are bonuses and they are achievable but there is often a monthly out of reach goal for how many services can be sold and is most often not met. You are required to be enabled in the que at all times and will get nagged if you aren’t but theres always people who are not enabled and are just gossiping who are not told to get back to work. Often can hear other employees yelling get enabled in the que but nobody does. Felt a lot of pressure as a new employee who was still training
