What is the best part of working at the company?
Been here for a long time. My first experience with previous manager was horrible and I had to take some time off because it was too much but then the manager changed and I had the opportunity to show off my skills and be appreciated for them. Since then I have grown, skill wise and work position wise, my work hours and pay was increased and now I supervise most my work hours. The new manager has changed the environment way too much for the better and team is going strong 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Parents are the most stressful part of this job. They constantly nag and you have to be very calm and focused on your job to be able to deal with them. Also kids need a ton of patience 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Previously very toxic now they’re like part of my family. We work as a team and solve problems together 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
After I chat, giggle and joke with front desk and supervisors, I start by setting the lane up for class going over which of my kids are coming and what I should focus on that day and by the time I realize what happened the day is over. It is physically hard and I get tired but the good parts of the job takes over the bad parts

As a swimming instructor, I have a deep appreciation for this school and its commitment to student development. The school not only emphasizes academic excellence but also prioritizes physical education, especially in swimming. The facilities are top-notch, with a clean and safe pool environment that allows students to train with confidence.

I love how the school encourages students to push their limits and develop teamwork and competitive spirit through swimming. I've witnessed many students grow in self-confidence and improve their swimming skills significantly during my lessons. The administration’s support enables us to provide personalized coaching, helping each student find joy and achievement in the water.

Overall, this is a remarkable school that fosters both academic and personal growth, and I am proud to be part of it!

You’ll likely notice that this position is frequently reposted — a clear sign of high turnover. Very few people stay long due to the poor management and unclear expectations.

The owner tends to be suspicious, and is extremely impolite and often changes instructions without notice, making the work environment stressful and unpredictable. I’ve witnessed same-day terminations, which creates a sense of insecurity among staff.

Although the role is advertised as “Administrative Assistant,” the majority of the duties involve aggressive sales tasks, with very little actual administrative work.

If you’re looking for a stable office position with clear responsibilities, I would strongly recommend considering other opportunities.

The workplace was good and fun when the manger was not there and telling people not to communicate and ask for help.
Some of the students gave you difficulty other than that it was not so bad 
most enjoyable part of the job was talking to the supervisors because they are so friendly and kind you and they truly care about their job and they try their hardest to help you out.

Every employee in WD SWIM are very friendly. I learn different skills from different people. Working at WD Swim has been a positive experience. The supportive management, friendly work environment, and focus on professional development make it a great place to work. Addressing the areas for improvement could further enhance job satisfaction and operational efficiency. I would recommend WD SWIM to prospective employees who are passionate about swim instruction and looking for a supportive and dynamic work environment.

Personally, in my case, the main disadvantage was, as I was told, that some Chinese parents have a different idea of how their children should learn to swim. Whereas European parents personally complimented me.

Teaching swimming was all about keeping students safe while encouraging them to push their limits. I found that being patient and communicating clearly made a big difference. The management was really supportive, and the team had a great sense of collaboration. Even though it was sometimes challenging to work with students at different skill levels, seeing their progress made it all worth it.

Everything is so stressful. No break. No pay for training, high turnover.
