About us

WDDC is a growing, dynamic company that has been distributing products to Veterinarians across Western Canada since 1983. With our two warehouse facilities in Winnipeg and Edmonton, we are committed to ensuring the highest level of service for our members.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Part Time Warehouse Merchandise Handler to join our team in our Winnipeg facility.
Accurately pick and pack products using handheld scanners
Assist with general warehouse duties, including put-away, replenishment, auditing, and shipping
Handle products and equipment carefully, following proper procedures
Maintain productivity and accuracy in line with company standards
Follow all packing guidelines, including special handling requirements (e.g., ice packs, fragile items)
Communicate issues or improvement ideas to management
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and follow safety procedures

Experience:

1 year of warehousing or related experience
TDG, forklift, pallet truck, and aerial lift certifications are assets
Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with warehouse management software (ASC) is an asset
Able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs. and regular standing, walking, and other manual tasks

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma

Additional Details:

This is a part-time, student-friendly position.

Reliable transportation is required

Candidates must be available to work the scheduled hours as outlined above.

Job Type: Part Time with the potential for Full Time.

Work Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week, scheduled within the following ranges (shifts may vary within these times): Sunday: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday – Thursday: 2:45 PM – 11:15 PM. Overtime may be required.
