Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food and beverage service, possess strong multitasking skills, and demonstrate a passion for hospitality. Prior experience with POS systems such as Micros is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and handling procedures. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic food industry environment.

Responsibilities

Take orders accurately from guests, ensuring prompt and courteous service
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards
Serve food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Operate POS systems such as Micros for order entry, billing, and cash handling
Manage cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas throughout shifts
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Engage with guests to create a positive dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly
Assist in setting up tables, restocking supplies, and closing duties as needed
Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations

Experience

Previous experience in restaurant or food service industry preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros or similar platforms is advantageous
Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tables or bar patrons simultaneously
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Basic math skills for cashiering, calculating bills, and managing cash transactions
Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks during busy periods
Experience working in hospitality environments that emphasize teamwork, professionalism, and guest satisfaction
