Reports To: Banquet & Catering Manager, Food & Beverage Manager, Bar Manager, Banquet Supervisors
Status: Seasonal (Evenings & Weekends Required)

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an energetic, professional, and service-oriented Banquet Server to support the Club's busy calendar of weddings, tournaments, member events, and special functions. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service while creating a welcoming and memorable experience for members and guests. The successful candidate will bring a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding hospitality in a fast-paced event environment.

Please note this is a seasonal position with possibility for extension.

This is a seasonal position with a schedule that includes evenings and weekends based on Club events and operational needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide exceptional food and beverage service during banquets, weddings, tournaments, and Club events.
Welcome members and guests in a warm, courteous, and professional manner.
Set up banquet rooms and event spaces according to function specifications.
Serve plated meals, buffets, hors d'oeuvres, and beverages in accordance with Club service standards.
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout events and respond promptly to requests and concerns.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of banquet spaces before, during, and after events.
Complete opening, ongoing, and closing duties for banquet functions.
Work collaboratively with banquet captains, kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow team members to ensure seamless event execution.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, health and safety, and responsible alcohol service standards.
Assist with resetting rooms and preparing for future functions.
Attend department meetings and training sessions as required.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional Member experiences.

· Smart Serve Certification (required prior to start date).

· Minimum 1 year of food service experience preferred, ideally in banquet, hospitality, catering, or restaurant environments.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to remain calm and service-focused during busy events.

· Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on Club events.

· Commitment to maintaining the Club's high standards of service and professionalism.
