Full job description

Xcel Automation Ltd. is an established integrator of Industrial Automation and SCADA solutions. We apply this expertise within many types of industries across Western Canada.

We are currently looking for a professional and friendly office administrator to join our Calgary office. This is a flexible, part time position, approximately 3-4 days a week, with potential for growth.

Working in a small team of automation professionals and engineers, you will use your knowledge and demonstrated experience to support our team in a wide variety of administrative tasks.

Duties to start will include but not limited to

General office duties such as answering phones, maintaining office supply inventory, mail correspondence, and taking meeting minutes.
Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and conferences.
Assist with accounts receivable & payable as required.
Assist with posting on company’s social media.
Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations as required.
Assist with maintaining company database and records.
Maintain electronic and physical filing systems and company records.
Other Duties will be added as required or as candidate grows with the company.

Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work independently and is self motivated within a team environment.
Excellent time management skills.
Very organized and pays high attention to detail.
Knowledge of Sage 50 (Simply Accounting) is an asset but not a requirement.
Experience with marketing/social media is an asset but not a requirement.

Wage is dependant on candidates’ qualifications and previous experience.
