Full job description

Job Title: CNC Operator

Shift : 7AM-3:30PM initially, transitioning to an afternoon shift from 3:30PM-2AM Monday to Thursday after a month.

Wage - $22-27/hr.

Location - South of Calgary

Job Description

The CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality metal components that meet project specifications and industry standards. They will handle custom projects for a variety of clients, often including trailers and cabs.

Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.
Load and unload materials, ensuring proper alignment and secure positioning.
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy.
Perform routine inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Essential Skills

1+ years of CNC operation experience with plasma table, laser, or press brake.
Any CNC machine operation experience is an asset.
Experience with adjustments.
Ability to read blueprints.
Experience with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
Skills in lathe, mill, machining, fabrication, and machine operation.
