Full job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Events Officer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of Mon Sheong Foundation events. This role requires a creative individual with excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills to work collaboratively across event planning, fundraising and marketing functions. The ideal candidate should have experience in event management, content creation and digital marketing, and be passionate about engaging audiences both online and offline.

Responsibilities

Involve in the overall planning, coordination, promotion and execution of various fundraising and marketing events of the Foundation
Liaise with sponsors, vendors, suppliers, donors, guests, and performers on event-related matters
Responsible in set-up, arrange event elements and logistics, guest list, production and follow-up work of events
Assist with event promotion, including development of marketing materials
Propose new ideas to improve the event planning and implementation process
Explore ways and opportunities through various events and to raise funds for the Foundation
Attend meetings of Committees and Sub-Committees/Taskforces/Organizing Committees on fundraising and event management when required; Plan and coordinate meeting schedule logistics, agendas and minutes, including location and hosting requirements
Respond to enquiries from the public about the events
Provide administrative support as assigned
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

University Degree or College Diploma in Event Management, Public Relations and/or Marketing, or related fields
Minimum 4 years of work experience in event administration, coordination, sponsorship and marketing
Good knowledge of various event and peer-to-peer fundraising software platforms
Work experience in charities preferred
Proficiency in English and Chinese, both oral and written
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
Knowledge of Adobe Suites is an asset
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a multiple top-priority projects concurrently

Salary Range: $48,000 – $59,000
