Millwright

FWS Group of Companies is a fully integrated design, engineering, construction, and maintenance services firm. We are advocates of the design-build approach to project development. Whether our clients are looking at greenfield construction or retrofitting an existing facility, we have the in-house expertise to take their project from vision to reality.

To add to this expertise, we are recruiting for Millwrights to join our collaborative and team focused organization.

As a Millwright, you will provide support to the department and Superintendent.

Position Overview:

Responsible for welding, ironwork, or mechanical related tasks.
Accurately and effectively uses various types of millwright precision tools.
Responsible for safe use of equipment including forklift, skid steer loader, scissor lifts, and power tools.
Reads and understands construction drawings, including providing accurate layout of the work and building to drawings and specifications.

Qualifications Needed:

Appropriate level of experience in industrial mechanics or enrolled in an Apprenticeship Program.

Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.

Must be able to work a 21/7 work rotation with extended time away from home.
Own and maintain basic trade tools.
Drug & Alcohol testing may be required for certain job sites.
