OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a detail-oriented person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality that encompasses keen observation and organization, with the ability to read blueprints.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct QC inspections on incoming materials and fabricated products to ensure they meet the required specifications, codes and standards. This will include:
Lifting, twisting and bending.
Use of overhead cranes and forklifts.
Review Material Test Reports.
Perform detailed measurements using tools such as calipers, tape measure, gauges, and micrometers.
Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities
Perform and maintain calibration records.
Use of MS Office and Adobe products.
Effectively communicate and collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality-related concerns.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience performing quality control inspections.
Physically fit to perform inspection duties.
Ability to understand mechanical drawings.
Effective communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
Attention to detail and accuracy in work
Secondary School Education or equivalent.
Willingness to learn and improve oneself to progress in role.
