Sommaire du poste

Relevant du superviseur de production, le ou la préposé(e) à la mise en forme participe à la fabrication de composants structurels et esthétiques pour le domaine de l’aéronautique en utilisant des matériaux composites de pointe (carbone, fibre de verre, Kevlar). Vous travaillerez dans un environnement de haute précision respectant des normes de qualité strictes (AS9100).

Principales responsabilités et tâches :

Préparer les moules, outils et matériaux requis à la fabrication.
Effectuer le drapage manuel des plis de tissus préimprégnés (prepreg) selon les séquences et les orientations définies par les plans techniques (stratification)
Réaliser les étapes de mise sous vide: Installer les tissus de drainage, les films séparateurs et les sacs de vide pour assurer la compaction des pièces.
Vérifier la conformité des matériaux et des pièces en cours de fabrication.
Remplir les fiches de suivi de production et les documents de traçabilité aéronautique.
Respecter les procédures de qualité, de santé et sécurité ainsi que les normes aéronautiques.
Maintenir son poste de travail propre, organisé et sécuritaire.
Collaborer avec les équipes de production, qualité et ingénierie afin d'assurer le respect des délais de livraison.

Profil recherché

Habilité manuelle et grande minutie;
Capacité à travailler avec précision selon des procédures établies.
Aptitude à lire et interpréter des instructions de travail et des dessins techniques.
Capacité à travailler debout pendant de longues périodes.
Esprit d'équipe et attitude positive.
Sens des responsabilités et de la qualité du travail accompli.
Langue : Compréhension fonctionnelle du français (parlé et lecture) pour comprendre les consignes de sécurité et la documentation technique.

Expérience et qualifications

Expérience : Un minimum de 1 à 2 ans d'expérience pertinente en stratification/moulage de pièces composites, idéalement dans le secteur aéronautique, automobile de pointe ou naval (atout majeur)
Minimum un (1) an expérience en fabrication, assemblage ou transformation de matériaux.
Formation en aéronautique, matériaux composites ou domaine connexe (atout).
Maîtrise du drapage manuel de matériaux préimprégnés (atout majeur)

Position Summary

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Composite Lay-Up Technician participates in the manufacturing of structural and aesthetic aerospace components using advanced composite materials such as carbon fiber, fiberglass, and Kevlar. You will work in a high-precision environment that adheres to strict quality standards, including AS9100 requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare molds, tooling, and materials required for manufacturing operations.
Perform manual lay-up of prepreg composite plies according to technical drawings, ply sequences, and specified orientations (lamination process).
Perform vacuum bagging operations, including the installation of breather fabrics, release films, and vacuum bags to ensure proper part consolidation.
Verify the conformity of materials and components throughout the manufacturing process.
Complete production tracking sheets and aerospace traceability documentation.
Follow company quality procedures, health and safety requirements, and aerospace industry standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to ensure delivery schedules are met.

Candidate Profile

Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Ability to work accurately and consistently while following established procedures.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions and technical drawings.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Strong team spirit and positive attitude.
Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to quality workmanship.
Language: Functional understanding of spoken and written French to understand safety instructions and technical documentation.

Experience and Qualifications

Experience : Minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in composite lay-up, molding, or composite part manufacturing, preferably within the aerospace, advanced automotive, or marine industries (major asset).
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or material processing.
Training in aerospace, composite materials, or a related field (asset).
Experience with manual lay-up of prepreg composite materials (major asset).

Rémunération : 21,97$ à 25,71$ par heure
