CGI is seeking a talented Salesforce Developer with hands-on experience in Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and support scalable Salesforce solutions that enable digital transformation within the financial services industry. Working as part of an Agile delivery team, you will develop custom applications using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC), build integrations with enterprise systems, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the Salesforce platform. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, architects, product owners, and distributed development teams to deliver secure, high-quality solutions that meet business objectives. This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in one of CGI's Atlantic Canada offices, including Halifax, NS; Moncton or Fredericton, NB; Stratford, PEI; or St. John's, NL, with a hybrid work model requiring three days per week onsite.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative platform capabilities.
- Develop and support integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications using REST and SOAP APIs and middleware technologies.
- Collaborate with senior developers and solution architects to implement scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
- Develop well-structured, testable code, create unit tests, and participate in peer code reviews.
- Work within Agile delivery teams, contributing throughout the software development lifecycle from requirements refinement through deployment.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues while improving platform reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams to support successful project delivery and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to technical documentation, development standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 to 6 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Proven experience developing solutions using Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
- Strong experience with Apex, including triggers, asynchronous Apex, and unit test development.
- Proficiency developing Lightning Web Components (LWC) and working within the Lightning framework.
- Experience building and consuming REST and SOAP APIs to integrate Salesforce with external systems.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture, data modeling, and security best practices.
- Experience working in Agile software development environments.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across distributed teams.

The following qualifications would be considered assets:
- Experience within Wealth Management or the broader Financial Services industry.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.
- Experience with Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in scaled Agile environments across multiple teams and workstreams.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise middleware or cloud platforms.
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $55,000-$110,000 CAD. This role is an existing vacancy.
