Full job description

Overview

Looking for a experienced insulator to Batt and Poly walls blow in ceilings in attics. Must have a valid drivers license. Confidence in driving truck/trailer and larger 20ft Blow truck. Will be working part of a team and must work well with others.

Responsibilities

Read construction drawings to determine insulation specifications and installation procedures.
Measure, cut, and fit insulation materials using hand tools such as knives, scissors, and tape measures.
Install insulation in walls, ceilings, floors, pipes, and other designated areas according to project requirements.
Utilize power tools safely for cutting and fastening insulation materials.
Perform caulking and sealing to ensure insulation effectiveness and prevent air leaks.
Assist with related construction tasks such as drywall installation, framing as needed.
Operate heavy equipment when required for large-scale projects or material handling.
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials properly.
Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction or insulation installation preferred.
Ability to read construction drawings accurately.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
Knowledge of construction estimating, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical systems, and related trades is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions.
Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights if necessary. Join our team as an Insulator to contribute your expertise toward building safe and efficient structures while advancing your career in the construction industry.
Valid Class 5 license.

Pay: $16.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
