We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and maintaining a fleet of well-maintained heavy-duty trucks. We are currently seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Truck and Apprentice Mechanic to join our Calgary team.

Job Description:
As a Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of heavy-duty trucks to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Conducting routine maintenance inspections on heavy-duty trucks.
Perform CVIP inspections, engine diagnostics, suspension work, and more.
Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, issues and performing necessary repairs.
Troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems, and other components.
Conducting thorough inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
Utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose issues and make necessary repairs.
Following safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Keemaintenance, and inventory of parts.
Collaborating with other team members to coping accurate records of repairs, complete tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
Providing guidance and training to mechanics as needed.

Qualifications:

Red Seal Certification as a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician
Minimum 5+ years of experience working on transport trucks/trailers
Also hiring Apprentice mechanics with 2+ years of experience
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and other heavy-duty truck components.
Experience of engines Rebuilt for DD-15 and Volvo D-13 is an asset
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.
